I was very pleased with the warm welcome after a long hot trip to Arezzo. The staff bend over backwards to accommodate you and are very gracious with information and suggestions. I would stay there again but next time longer!

We used the stay in Arezzo for a start of the pilgrimage of St. Francis from La Verna to Assisi. We wanted to park our car in the hotel garage, but they did not show us the garage so we decided to go to a public garage. Maybe it was a language problem. The rooms were ok but old furniture, but it was quiet and the breakfast was ok.

The location of the hotel is excellent. . . close to train station, but quiet. Arezzo is a very small town, so walking anywhere was easy. There is so much to see and do-- we'll be back. We'll especially love the Osteria della Poste on Via Tolletta-- excellent food.

This hotel is perfectly situated in Arezzo. Only minutes walk from the train station and the historical centre of town. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and relatively quiet for a room that overlooked the street. Would definitely return and recommend.

This hotel definitely meets 3-stars standards and it’s even better than some 4-stars hotels in Rome and Florence where I have been stayed. In addition, a location is very convenient. I would recommend this hotel.

I chose this hotel for its location: near the railway station and not far from the historic centre. However the price was higher than other comparable hotels I stayed in in this part of Italy, and although clean and spacious, it seemed rather impersonal. Perhaps more suitable for business clients.

This hotel was very conveniently located -- close to train station and close to the historical center of town. The room, however, was too small for three people and did not look anything like the photos on the web or in the hotel brochure at the hotel itself.

The web pages did not mention that the breakfast (9 euros) was not included in the proce. The room was very lovely, but the public areas "kitschissimo". The soundproofing between the room and the street was perfect, but very poor between the rooms.

Contintentale is ideally located for a stopover or for a longer visit to Arezzo. Close to RR station, all major sites are easily accessible from this hotel. Desk clerks were polite and helpful. Free access to Internet was appreciated. Street noise is a minor problem given its location at major intersection but room itself was reasonably insulated. Buffet breakfast, not included but reduced rate for guests, was generous. Room was a treat after ten nights in B&Bs!

We enjoyed our stay at the Continentale very much. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. They were able to suggest some lovely places to visit by car, e.g. Cortona and Montepulciano and some very good restaurants. Breafast only meal available. Everything very good except for the coffee which was poor. An excellent restaurant nearby was the Osteria Mercantile which was recommended by the Receptionist/Concierge.

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for--close to the train station, close to the city, providing easy access to the antique fair as well as all the sights. While there was a slight mosquito problem in my room, the staff was very helpful and provided me with two plug-ins as well as additional tablets. I had a great stay and would certainly return.

This was our first time in Arezzo. We were there for the antiques market. The Hotel Conintentale was perfectly situated for easy access to the entire city as well as to the train station. It was a terrific experience. We didn't have hotel breakfast, though, as it seemed expensive. A coffee bar across the street (Bar Blu?)was fabulous with great Sicilian pastries. We would return to this hotel in a heartbeat. And to Arezzo, a city with beautiful parks, lots of history, and a terrific Saturday night passegiata.

From the moment we entered the lobby until the second we left, the staff went all out to make our stay outstandingly pleasant. Train times were found on line and printed, information about restaurants provided, directions to interesting places were given and more. I have never stayed at a more delighteful hotel. It was just like home.

I stayed at this hotel in April 2007. It is in a good location for exploring Arezzo--which I thoroughly enjoyed. I had some of the best food during my two months in Italy in Arezzo. It is a standard hotel--comfortable and modern. However, the staff was exceptional. I was stranded in Arezzo due to a rail strike and the gentleman at reception did everything in his power to help me by phoning car rental agencies, coaches, etc. I ended up staying an extra night which allowed me to enjoy more of the great food.

We were there for the antique fair - location was convenient. Room was small/crowded. This was the only place we stayed in Italy where there was confusion about breakfast inclusion and we were unhappy to be charged extra. It added considerably to the cost of the room.

The "single" room was small, old and not refurbished.Good enough for a 1 night stay but decisely unpleasant to sleep in such a nice hotel with such an old and small single bed room.I would definitely not come back. The Hotel is nice and in the center of the town.

Excellent location, easy to walk to the railway station, easy to walk to the old town of Arrezzo with very good restaurants and bars nearby. The roof garden is very pleasant, especially the evening views over the town. We would have liked tea/ coffee facilities in the hotel or preferably in the room.

Wonderful position in Arezzo, drive straight there (or station just down road. They park your car for you for 13 Euro a day, so add that to the costs. We guessed that there weren't many choices for hotels in Arezzo and this was very good. Didn't use internet (in every room) but they lent us a adaptor for our equipment and were most helpful. Breakfast extra and not very good - go out round corner and get decent coffee!!!

Hotel Continental is ideally situated for visiting the sights of Arezzo and for travelling to and from other destinations..station and bus station only 5 minutes away. Staff, particularly porters were very helpful and friendly. Only drawback we felt was there was no restaurant on the premises and if it rains, which it did when we were there, it would be handy not to have to search for somewhere to eat. However, this is a minor gripe...overall very satisfied with the hotel and Arezzo is beautiful.

It's close to the station and a supermarket, so it's very conveinent. You can use the Internet at the lobby. It's not free, but the fee was reasonable and the staff was kind, too. Compared with other hotels I stayed in Italy this summer (Milan, Rome, FLorence, etc.), the room charge was a little expensive, but generally speaking, this is a nice hotel.
