Hotel Casa Arequipa - Arequipa

This was my first visit to the hotel travelling with family on holiday. Our reception was excellent and hotel arranged our overnight visit to Colca Canyon. The only drawback if you weren't on an early start to Colca was that some bedrooms are below the breakfast room and this is noisy from 6am. Breakfast was great though - especially if you didn't have to hear it being prepared! Overall though a lovely hotel within walking distance of centre - but a taxi is only a quid.

This place is awesome, incredibly beautiful and the service is just fantastic. I have never experienced anything similar in a hotel in this price range. The breakfast on the roof balcony gives you a luxurious start for the day. The rooms are beautiful, well equipped and very clean. Every little detail is thought of and taken care of - both in the decorations and in the services. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas. You need to pass a couple of dodgy blocks although I suppose it is rather safe. At least there is a military unit with armed watchposts almost next to the hotel so there is no reason to worry too much :o) Finding the hotel e.g. in Google Maps is not that easy because the name and address of the hotel fool the search engine. I wish there would be more hotels like this in this world where so much effort is put to make guests enjoy their stay. We certainly did and would love to come back.

The location was closer to downtown than the website indicated. so we were more pleased with it than anticipated. we walked to the Plaza de Armas area each day and each evening -- returning after dark with no concerns.

Wonderful stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt very much as if we were in a lovely home. Tea and greeting when we arrived were much appreciated. We would not hesitate to stay there again. The breakfast was also very good.

It has been the best hotel that we have had in oour stay in Peru. The hotel gives more than the stars reflected in the web. Its specially noteworthy the excellent breakfast in a very nice breakfast room. Employees were always very hepful, interested and friendly.

We stayed at Casa Arequipa for 5 days. Enjoyed the spacious room with a large bed and american style bathroom with hot water. The staff gives you a nice breakfast with your stay. You have access to internet to keep in touch with the world. They are very helpful in getting you reservations to what ever you want to do in arequipa. You are about 10 minutes walk from the center of town and all the museums and eating areas. Enjoy the hospitality of the family that run this beautiful colonia house.

Nice ancient colonial house in a quiet place, ten minutes walking from de center town. Each room is very well and differently decorated with nice ancient luggage, with a lot of details that makes you feel at home.Very new and nice bathroom with amenities like a four stars hotel. Very good breakfast. I would recommend it for any type of couples.

EXTRAORDINARY. The Best Bed and Breadfast we have stayed in. Geart breakfast. The staff very attentive and courteous.

Excellent service, very nice, small hotel. Kindest, most professional receptionist on our 3weeklong trip in Peru. If again in Arequipa, we'll definitely stay there.

Staff is very friendly, professional and warm. Their task is to make guests feel at home and they totally succeed. It is a colonial building where every detail is cared and nothing is forgotten. Very very good! We strongly recommend!
