Hotel Bedouin Garden Village - Aqaba

The Bedouin Garden Village Hotel is a real mixture of very good and extremely poor. We found the staff very helpful and friendly, the food (we only had b'fast & dinner) and location excellent. The hotel has cabins and the common area has been divided into a collection of separate small, open seating areas all connected to a central walkway through the hotel property. It allows groups to sit in their own area, but still giving a feeling of being part of the whole. There are lots of trees and shrubs everywhere, giving shade and greenery. The rooms were tidy, but their condition was really poor. The walls desperately needed a new coat of paint and the shower in our first cabin didn't work well at all. The hotel location on the map was totally wrong; it showed it being north of Aqaba, whereas it's really south, half-way between the Saudi border and the town. Location itself was great and easy to find once we knew where it really was. Apart from the room condition and map info, I would recommend it - it was far better overall than the other 2 hotels next door.

Fantastic place to stay in for the price. Rather far from the ferry terminal though and unless you can haggle a good price for a taxi ride i.e. dont pay more than 3JD each or have a car, it can be rather difficult to get there. Otherwise, it's a great place to relax and enjoy the view + sea

Lovely hotel, with pool, restaurant, equipment hire, across the road from great diving and snorkelling sites. 12km from Aqaba, but no problem with town access with taxis, minibuses and coaches all running the route. Like staying at a motel, great place for families.
