Hotel Europe - Aosta

I am not sure why this hotel gets 4 stars. The hotel needs a renovation. The room we stayed in had not been changed since 1970 I think. Breakfast was good, but for the price, it was only location and last minute availability that it has going for it. NOT A 4 Star from our opinion

Our room (no. 409) was obviously a smoking room. It smelled poorly.

The standard is not 4-star but then the price isn't it either. Everything is a bit old and a refurbishment is clearly needed. The location (close to train and bus station & city center) is good. The breakfast is sufficient.

With the special price, the 4 star hotel is quite cheap. and the room is quite big

It stays at this hotel, and it has gone to the Breuil-Cervinia ski Resort and the Chamonix ski Resort in France. It will be possible to go in Cervinia and the Culmaiyul ski area by car about one hour.

It was very nice to be close by center to visit old town or do shopping

The hotel, as all hotels in Italy was difficult to locate -- were it not for the sign in the street - we might still be driving. There is an underground garage which is a nice advantage. Hotel Europe is in an excellent location if you are interested in exploring Aosta Centro. Also near many of Aosta's best Restaurants. Overall, we would stay there again.

Staff were very helpful & courteous. Excellent location near old city sights, walking distance to trains and buses.

Lovely hotel, great location in the centre of town, near shops and restaurants. Great views of the mountains too! Overall, easy to find, great location, excellent staff. Would recommend and re-visit.

The location is outstanding and probably can't be beaten in Aosta. The staff are particularly helpful.

Hotel in need of refurbishment, rather shabby in places and a bit dated. Reception staff welcoming and helpful. Excellent location. Public areas need updating.

While nothing about this hotel jumps out at you as being superb, the Hotel Europa (Aosta) is really a very nice place. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (with a great bed), the public areas are charming and clean if perhaps just a little worn, and the breakfast was outstanding. They arranged extremely easy and convenient parking across the street in a private garage. I would stay here again in a heartbeat for all the reasons cited above, but mostly for the fantastic location just steps away from the Piazza Chanoux and City Hall. Absolutely everything is within easy walking distance, yet because of the location near the edge of the old city, getting in and out by car is ridiculously easy. (My off-season rate through Venere was €70, plus €10 for parking.)

Very nice place, clean and quiet. It's close to the main steet of Aosta, in the storic city center.
