My stay was for a family visit (I've born in Anzio) and I knew the place. So, I had my car with me as the place is not in a central or very serviced area. The hotel is very good for a quite stay to enjoy sea and relax. They have 2 levels of room: higher level are into the main building whereas lower level are detached and connected to the main building by an underground corridor (spacious and well illumintated) that arrives to the swimming pool and then to the rooms. I prefer those because they all have a balcony hanging on the sea

We addressed Anzio as part of a Cabrio tour from Switzerland to Lazio and back. We passed 1 night in Dei Cesari an enjoyed the spectacular place directly at the boarder of the see. At this early time of the season, only few tourists were around and the stay was very relaxing. Anzio invites for walking, dicovering history and nature. Great place for leasure!!!
How to reach Grand Hotel dei Cesari
By car
From the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring road take the exit n. 26 and take the S.S. Pontina Street. Then take the exit Anzio-Nettuno, drive along the Via Nettunense and then you will find the hotel signs.
By train
From Rome Termini railway station take a train to Anzio and get off at Anzio Colonia. The hotel is located within 400 metres/437 yards from the train station.
By airplane
Fiumicino and Ciampino airports are both located at approx. 50 km/31 miles to the hotel.
