Given the poor quality of the room (small, dark, no table, no chair, no wardrobe, no telephone, no internet in the room...), the fact that it is far from the center and the scarcity of the services offered (no bar, no restaurant, no laundry, no travel services) the price of 70 US$/night for one person is very much exagerated, even in the expensive Antigua context. The strong points of this hotel are that it is small (few rooms), cute (a small patio with a fountain), very quiet and offers a good buffet breakfast. As soon as I could I moved to an hotel better, cheaper and closer to the center. Las Marias is definitively non competitive in Antigua, exept when almost all others are full.
