Excellent hotel with wonderful helpful staff. Our stay in Antigua was memorable and staying in this hotel made all the difference. Great location as well.

The price of the hotel is too high for what they offer. The rooms are worn out, need refurbishment, it is loud, difficult to sleep, insects and worms in the bathromms - a stay is ok - but you get better offers in Antigua

The hotel was gorgeous. The price was a little high for Guatemala, but it was worth the stay for a couple of nights. The rooms stay true to traditional Guatemalan decor. If you are looking for a romantic place and not really worried about a budget I would recommend this hotel.

Room Details
Casa Antigua offers 22 rooms divided in single, double, twin, triple and quadruple accommodations, all with private bathroom, cable TV and free wireless Internet. The rooms are elegantly decorated with many antique and historical items, such as a bed made for King Mosquitia of Nicaragua in the 1800's and one of the original chandeliers from the Cathedral of Antigua.All rooms boast comfy Tempur-Pedic mattresses and hand-made furniture. This includes bright Guatemalan colors and fabrics, closets for clothes, writing desk and chairs, bedside tables, paintings and iron forged lamps. All rooms also have window views and walk out to one of the 3 beautiful gardens, with the fountains giving you a sense of tranquility.
Depending on availability: Doubles can be with 1 large bed or 2 separate beds. Triples can be with 2 larges beds or 3 separate beds. Quadruples can be with 2 or 3 large beds or 4 separate beds. Extra beds are available at no extra cost and guests can request an in-room massage (advance reservation required).
