Hotel Miramar - Cap d'Antibes Antibes-Juan-les-Pins

The Miramar is a lovely, bright, well-kept, family run hotel (if it were smaller it would really be a Bed and Breakfast) just 50 meters from a fine sandy beach in Cap d'Antibes. The hotel's only weakness is that it does not have a swimming pool, but as long as the sea is warm (and it was 23C in late September when we visited) you have the option of using a free public or private strip of beach and swimming in blue water with few of the rocks one normally expects along the Riviera underfoot. The host of the hotel also plays bass in a French bluegrass band! Oh, breakfast is not included in the room rate, but it is worth the extra tariff for the fresh squeezed OJ and other fresh fruits along with the fresh baguettes and croissants.

The location of the hotel is good, very close to the beach and in a quiet position. It's a very nice, familiar and little hotel, with very kind employees. The owner is always ready to help you. I thought that breakfast was too much expensive but price out of the hotel was the same.

This is not a 3 star hotel , more like a 2 star guest house. the room was incredibly small, filled by the double bed. The bathroom was behind a sliding door at the side of the bed with the toilet plan less than an arms length from the pillows. we paid extra for a "sea view balcony" - total waste of money. you would need a car if you are staying here as local facilities are few and transport links non existent in the evening. room rate advertised in the hotel is less than that charged through this website, though still expensive for very basic accomodation. all in all very disappointing.

Nice and small, friendly place. We are usually staying here when we are going to Antibes. Close to Plage de la Garoupe, located in a superb small bay, definitely a place to spent some days on the French Riviera.

I thought the Hotel was really quaint, yes the rooms are small but they and the rest of the hotel are very clean. It is really close to the beach. The price is excellent for the South of France, I would highly recommend this place, just think of it more like a B&B.

The hotel is clean but the overall impression is that this should be a 2 stars hotel. Considering the quality/price, we will not go back there another time in the future.

I really liked the vibe of the hotel and the owner/operators. Loved their petite dejuner(s) and the room it was served in. The place was just steps from the water and would be a nice place for couples. Our room was probably the weekest thing about the experience. Very basic and not something you would want to hang out in but it served it's purpose. Overall, very nice experience would visit again.

We had a nice weekend in this hotel. Very beautiful place. However, the spaciousness of the room was low compared to the price. Perhaps I would reccomend this hotel to who would like to have a quiet hotel for the summer with the beach near, but it far from the centrum of the village, and if i would be there once more, perhaps i will choose a hotel in the centrum. If the price would be a little lower, I would raccomend it without any doubts.

My wife and I had a very memorable long weekend in the South of France and the Hotel Miramar was an excellent and welcoming base.

The room was VERY small, with a double bed and barely enough room to walk around the bed. There was no balcony or patio. We reservered a "sea view" room, and the "sea view" was around the corner of the building next door. The public areas of the hotel were quite nice and inviting.
