Alp Pasa Hotel - Special Class - Antalya

This is our second stay at Alp Pasa. The difference from our first stay is that the hotel has expanded with several annexes around the main building. The added number of guests is putting a strain on the central facilities for meals, relaxation etc.

The hotel staff were efficient and welcoming. My 9 yr old daughter was thrilled with both the jacuzzi and the pool. The food was well prepared and plentiful. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend it without a moments hesitation.

The hotel and holiday was everthing I expected. It was so pleasant to be in such a lively hotel environment so early in the season. Although we ate in other local restaurants whilst enjoying the food the lack of other customers prompted us to dine in the hotel occasionally where we found the food excellent. Having two happy hours was very appealing!

The hotel is located in a very nice area. The staff at the reception cannot communicate well and are overwhelmed by the volume of travelers. The restaurant and yard people are so rude. The food is excellent. The hotel is magical and the decoration is fantastic. The problem is poor management.

This is my 3rd stay at Alp Pasa Boutique Hotel and we are very pleased with both the rooms and service.It is located in a very nice part of the old town ideal for exploring the rest of the old town of Antalya.

We stayed as a young couple in Antalya at the end of our 2 weeks tour, for one night. We stayed in many other small hotels in this tour. This hotel has a wonderful flair and decoration - thanks to professional renovation work they did. Except the pool, which is far too small to be a swimming pool, but big enough to spoil the yard... However this wonderful hotel is not conducted in a professional way. Reception personnel was not competent. We arrived at 14.30 and room was not ready. We have sit at the café for a while and then they asked us to go to reception again. Before we could go upstairs, they asked us to pay the accomodation - in advance! We refused to make the payment before we see the room. They insisted to get the payment after we see the room and not at our check out. This is completely absurd, because they are getting also a guarantee from Venere, since the customer enters credit card no as reservation guarantee anyway... Our room was excellent, but the door's lock was out of order. A room door, that everyone can open: with or without key. The receptionaist told that he will send someone to fix it, but nobody came. When we went out, they called us with the request to drop our car key at the reception, saying that it was blocking a truck to turn (although we did not park the car in such a way). When we came back to hotel, we found out that they did not mean our car. The hotel could be booked only half-board: we decided to try the food and go out if we don't like it. We ate at the hotel at the end, the food was not bad. But they were serving tab water with high chlor rate together with raki (for 10 lira a glass). At 23.15 we jumped out of the bed with a very high volume of tasteless music, it started suddenly at the highest volume. Last impudence was the communication between the waiters in the morning, who were assuming that we do not understand their language. This hotel needs better educated personnel and a better quality in operation.

The hotel had a wonderful ambience. We especially enjoyed the artifacts that were placed around the courtyards of the hotel. There was a very warm atmosphere within the hotel. The location within the old city allowed one to take in the sites without travelling far afield. Hotel guests were very friendly and one would often strike up conversations with one or another.

I booked the Alp Pasa hotel for myself and 2 of my customers while on a business trip to Antalya. Both my customers and myself were absolutely delighted with the choice. A much more interesting stay than regular business hotels or holiday resorts. The Alp Pasa would probably not suit families with young children, but is great for anyone else. I recommend it highly.

Need a more detailed map to find hotel if driving. A very unique property. Included meals were a bonus but food was production line quality. Bellman pointed out I had a low tire and employees changed to spare post haste!!!

Was very surprised about price and quality in low season!--Low price didn`t mean low quality or less friendlyness at all!!! Saw the hotel in summer 07 during a walk --didn`t think I could afford it one day!!

We had order a supero room, thei gave us first a smal room with no window. when we told we could not stay there, theiy gave us a beautiful room at once.the meals on the hotel and nearby was exelent.
