Private Stopover. Room was smelling very bad and we must change room to front side. This side of hotel is very noisy.

Hotel che non ha nulla del 4 stelle...la camera è piccola, mal tenuta e il bagno minuscolo senza finestra nè estrattore. l'aria condizionata era rumorosissima e quindi nella notte avendola tenuta spenta faceva molto caldo.

4 stars for this hotel is a bit too much, elsewhere it would be three. Rooms are ok, but nothing exceptional. Strong point: breakfast is excellent and very rich! Staff is very helpful and friendly, but not always very well informed - they didn't have any idea of public transport from the hotel. The hotel is NOT in the center (about 5km away), which means that you have to take buses or taxis. Buses are running frequently on daytime, however if you want to go for a beer to the city centre in the evening, things are becoming complicated. Beginning from 22h there is only one bus every 40 min, the last one back leaves Ancona train station at 24h, so check out the schedules, if you don't want to pay taxis. The hotel surroundings are poor, there is no beach and instead a major noisy road in front of the hotel, so don't expect a romantic sea view. There are only a few restaurants and bars around.

How to reach Sporting Hotel
By carFrom the North: take the Ancona Nord exit of the A14 highway and merge onto the expressway towards Porto (harbour). Follow along for about 8 km/5 miles and exit at Ancona/Agugliano. Go through two set of traffic lights and turn right at the first crossroads. The hotel is 50 metres/164 feet ahead.
From the South: take the Ancona Sud exit of the A14 highway and follow the indications to Pesaro (pay attention not to enter the city centre). Go under the tunnel and turn right towards Ancona/Agugliano. Go through two set of traffic lights and turn right at the first crossroads. The hotel is 50 metres/164 feet ahead.
