A basic hotel but you can't beat the price and proximity to Disneyland. I would stay there again.

Location is awesome, room quality and cleanliness are decent, the breakfast was awful. Good notes: they allow you to keep your car parked there the day you check out for only $8.00, the valet, front desk, housekeeping staff were all very pleasant. Bad notes: when the hotel is full, the front desk closes, manager appears to leave the premises and locks the doors to the front office. Also the area immediately around the hotel seams decent, but go a couple blocks away from Disneyland and the neighborhood gets a lot more uncomfortable. Bottom Line: I'd stay there again strictly for the location, literally across the street from Disneyland.

Our King bed room(confirmed 2 weeks before arrival) was unavailable due to renovations.??? Surely they new that before we confirmed? Management should have let us know! We did like our 'New' room but I felt let down.

It was a great location! The only thing that I would have to complain about is the Parking fee. If you're a guest of the Hotel, the daily fee should be waved!

Everything was very very good, I loved the roof top viewing area, the pool was a fantastic relief after the Disney parks. Would stay here again and definitely recommend this place to family & friends. Our room two-queens + and attached sitting area worked out great. There were Pros & Cons with the sink being outside the bathroom, but over all, great room. PS. the air conditioning was PERFECT! Thank you.

Price quoted did not include applicable taxes and fees. Fees and taxes added an additional 27% to the cost of the room. 5 nites in a Suite A came to $918. Rooms were outdated, ventilation was poor, had to sleep with noisy AC and wall fan on all night even though it was 62 degrees outside in April. Fairfield Inn down the street was a much better value for a similar price. I wouldn't go back here again.

My stay was brilliant! I was a solo traveler, and the service provided was brilliant. the only shock I ever experienced was the difference in price from the quoted online and the paid price including taxes (obviously not the hotels fault). The hotel is RIGHT ACROSS the street from Disneyland!! perfection!! Family friendly and solo traveler friendly. staff were wonderful!

I was disappointed in the continental breakfast as well as the add-on fees. There was the $4 resort fee plus 15% resort fee tax and the $8 parking fee plus 15% parking fee tax. Additionally they are charging another $8 plus tax for keeping the car on the lot while we go to Disneyland the day we are checking out. I will stay at a nearby hotel that doesn't charge all the add-on fees. It was located right across the street from Disneyland - super convenient - but I won't stay there again.

Anaheim Desert Inn is a good place to stay if you are planning your Southern California tour like us. It is very convenient - Disney is just across, Grayline service pick up point is just a 2-min slow walk away from hotel lobby, access to food (including delivery from Panda Express). We really had a good experience with Desert Inn and will surely recommend it to our friends. Thank you very much.

Overall the hotel was a ok deal for the price and the location. Keep in mind of all the extra fees they tack on top of the nightly room fees, such as parking, resort tax, state tax etc.. The room we stayed in is very over due for an update. The beds were uncomfortable and it would have been nice if the windows had drapes with the plank window covers. We could see complete day light around the entire door, which led to a strong draft. Even though it is California it was a bit cold during the night and the heater in one room did not work properly. House keeping was great and cleaned very well, but the rooms always felt dingy (no fault to the house keepers.) It might have been the old carpet and the standard bed covers. The staff were friendly and ready to help with any questions or problems. The location was right across from the street from the entrance to Disneyland, which made for a quick walk after being in the park all day. All in all is was not the worst place I have ever stayed, but I would not stay there again due to the out dated rooms and bad beds. We have stayed a nicer hotels close to the same price in the same location. I recommend the Best Western Park Place Inn or the Tropicana.

THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY if you are going to Disneyland. Right across from the main gate,Denny's and IHOP on either side.Don't have to hassle with driving, parking, etc. Continental breakfast was adequate. Our bed might have been a little firm for some, but after 15 hours at Disneyland my back was not sore or stiff the next morning, in fact when I got back home I changed the selection on my Select Comfort Bed. We had looked at much cheaper rooms involving a short drive, but the reviews about cleanlines, problems with facilities, noise, etc were a concern. We were glad to pay a little more. Would definitely come back again.Oh and bring your sweatshirt - it was actually cool in the evenings.

The message lamp was always flashing. Front staff would miss to tuen off. In spite of a letter had been arrived, they did not hand over to us immediately. But since this hotel is located just in front of Disneyland entrance, it was quite convenience for DL visitors.

This hotel is soo close to Disneyland. It is close to a good selection of places to eat. We had the parlor suite and even though the extra room is small it is nice to have the space after the kids go to bed to relax.

our hotel room was as expected. it was clean, quiet and close to disneyland. while this room did not "exceed" my standards it surely met my needs for the occasion. i only needed a room for my family for the night as i was actually staying in san diego for the week and had traveled to anaheim for 2 days in disneyland. i have no complaints to register against the desert inn and suites. we have stayed there in the past and have always enjoyed my stay.

Since we were paying in cash they wanted all of the money upon check-in. We still had to leave a credit card deposit, which I understand. I did not like having to pay for the whole stay upon arrival. Also, there wasn't much hot water. The shower was always lukewarm. Overall the hotel was nice enough. THE BEST PART WAS WALKING TO DISNEYLAND, RIGHT ACCROSS THE STREET!!!!

I enjoyed our stay at the desert Inn. All we needed was a place to sleep and chill and that was wat we got. Ít's not a luxurious resort but a no nonsens hotel. Breakfast was boring and the same everyday but it was there when you wanted it. It was very well located to Disney and to the highway.

The room looks like the room at the photos and it was clean and well equipped (standard). The staff was very kind and helpful. We loved the view to the Disneyland fireworks and that we had to cross a (one) street only to Disneyland. The breakfast was good. There was cake, cerials, toast with jam, milk, organge juice and coffee. The rate to pay was the same as confirmed by mail. In additional we had to pay tax but this was announced per mail before.

Excellent continental breakfast-coffee actually tasted great. Parlour Suites are well priced for families. One of the best locations if one wants to walk to Disney. At times, could hear neighbors--air conditioner/heater was great white noise. If a taxi is needed use only YELLOW CAB. If requested through front desk they may call a more expensive cab. Could see Disny fireworks from window.

Convienently across the street to Disneyland, which was great. The room is standard. It's a great place to stay if you just need it to sleep and you're at the park all day. Noisy because it is a family place for children. Simple but complimentary breakfast is always good.

Everything was great but I think ALL the hotels across the street from Disneyland USED to be so reasonable now they are soooo EXPENSIVE. This was the cheapest room I could find in walking distance from the main gate. And that's too bad. The location was excellent as far as that goes. And I had no problems with the hotel at all! It was nice.

I grabbed this room last minute before a convention and was pleasantly surprised. It ain't the Ritz, mind you, but it's clean and relatively spacious. If I were bringing kids to Disneyland, this would be the place. Otherwise, it's within spitting distance of the Anaheim Convention Center. The included breakfast, once I discovered its availability, was more than satisfactory... certainly rivalling the 24-hour establishment on the adjacent property. The front desk staff were particularly competent.
