This hotel looked nothing like the pictures on the internet. The room smelled of mold, it was very small and the air conditioner did not work. There wasn't another room available. There was an additional fee to use the pool. And the disco avertised was a joke. This hotel is to expensive for the condition that it is in. Pay a little more and get something a lot nicer.

Besides the view from my room and the pasta I ordered from room service...I can't say anything really stuck out as outstanding from the Hotel San Michele. Granted, it was fairly windy, party overcast, and at times a bit chilly while I was there which can obviously effect one's experience but in general, everything was just average. The view however was spectacular...my little single room overlooked Capri with the Sorrento Peninsula in the distance. It is also fairly well situated just a few blocks down the road from the center of Anacapri. While this worked overall for my purposes this time, I likely would not stay there again.

Wouldn't recommend this hotel for any amenities aside from a decent view. The staff was neither friendly, nor helpful, and the services "offered" were minimal. Room was dingy and bathroom the size of a linen closet with no toiletries offered. Breakfast was only a selection of juices and toast, shuttle service was not timely and required long waits if even available.
