Hotel Loreley - Anacapri, Capri

As long it is in a well visited place, some public signs on the streets could help visitors to find the hotels easily.

It's a very old hotel, nothing like the photographs show. The bed mattresses were ruins and the furniture on the terrace was worn out. The bathroom is out of age and we could hear the next door neighbour in his!!! the toilet was leaking... Nowhere to put the luggage, one horrible wardrobe with graffitis all over inside. Breakfast was ok and the coffee delicious. The Lady at Breakfast was very nice and helpful. Very very disappointed as I was travelling with my parents and the hotel room for 3 was 150€/night non-refundable even one week in advance! Definetely not a good experience and would not recommend ever!

Loreley is a good value for Capri Island. It is conveniently located just steps away from Anacapri center and Villa San Michele. The rooms were clean and staff helpful. Walls are very thin so depending on your neighbors it can be pretty noisy.

Great location just off main square with restaurants, shops, bus connections to Capri town and Blue Grotto, chairlift to Mt. Solerno and Villa San Michel all a short walk away. We had quad room, bunk beds and queen, perfect. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.Very gracious family-run hotel.Breakfast was yummy juice, great croissants, bread, coffee. I couldn't decide between capucino and espresso so I was brought both, with a smile. Nice inside and outside eating areas.Staff gave good tips about restaurant for dinner and grotto. Had pasta with lemon cream sauce. I'm still dreaming about it. Yum!!! Don't miss the grotto or the wild bus ride to it. Great views. My daughter said the drive was better than a roller coaster. I wouldn't want to be a driver there!!! Overall, a wonderful experience.

A smaller family run hotel in Anacapri. It sits about 100 m from a best stop to run you all over the island. Also it is right by the city square for Anacapri where there is ritzy shopping mall, tourist shopping, and many great restaurants. Also there is a chair lift nearby to take you to the best view of the island!

We were not happy with this hotel because of the cleanliness. Our room was not very clean, and everything in the room and the hotel was worn out and in need of repair. The location was good, it was right near the center of Anacapri, but I would not stay here again because of the cleanliness/shabbiness of it.

I had a wonderful stay and I just loved Capri!

We stayed 7 nights as a 30 year wedding anniversary surprise for my wife. It is the perfect hotel for the quiet traveller not wanting busy people traffic. The welcome and service from the hotel managers & staff could not be bettered anywhere: it was the friendliest, most helpful, most engaging service we have had anywhere. That friendliness stands out in my memory as much as our discovery of the beauties of the island, and really completed the "great holiday experience" our week felt to be. Our balcony had a view of the sea but as we were out walking every day the hotel's lack of floral gardens or panoramic viewpoints was never an issue. I would very happily go back there for another Capri stay.

The island of Capri is very nice to visit. And if you dont mind to travel on the island, you can also stay in Anacapri. The hotel lays really in the centre, almost next to the place where the busses are stopping to go the other places on the island. I can say I had a very good time, and the hotel is great!

We enjoyed the Loreley very much. It is in a superb location, a very short walk to the taxi stand, bus stop, main square of Anacapri, a most charming town with a number of walking streets. The hotel, owned by a father and his son and daughter, has a friendly, unpretentious atmosphere. The son, Michele, was particularly helpful. Breakfast was pleasant, served in the outdoor area, and the spacious room had a nice balcony, which had a drying rack - a very convenient feature. If you want a sea view, ask for it. The bathroom was adequate, but small. They could have more, better towels. Also it would have been nice to have a full length mirror in the room. The mattress was good. All in all, a very pleasant and peaceful stay in an excellent location on Capri. There is no pool at this hotel, by the way; we went to the rocky beach at Faro, where there is also a pool, and there is a small sandy beach at Marina Piccola.

This family-run hotel is sweet, quiet, and charming. The proprietors are helpful and conscientious, and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. (For first-time visitors to Capri/Anacapri -- the bus-stop is Piazza Vittorio.)

Exactly what we were looking for. Great location. Staff was very helpful. Would stay there again.

Staff was not very eager to help us with tourist information. Nor was our arrival to the hotel greeted with a warm reception.

As this was our "second honeymoon" everything was perfect. Having been to Capri twice but my husband never, this hotel was exactly where I wanted it to be. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
