About Hotel La Bougainville

exterior Hotel La Bougainville exterior La Bouganville is a newly built hotel located in Anacapri, the most exclusive and romantic part of the island of Capri, situated 300 metres above the sea level in a wonderful garden with local flowers and trees.

The hotel, furnished in modern style, features guest-rooms with private balconies and a charming view of the centre, a bar, a terrace and a comfortable lounge where you can unwind.

The hall, built with handmade works, is the symbol of our hospitality already from the first meeting. Here our staff will give you the best assistance, in order to render your stay unforgettable, organizing personalized marine excursions and guided tours. At the reception you can speak English, Spanish, German and French.

The hotel is a few steps far from the famous Axel Munthe’s Villa San Michele and from the chairlift for the Solaro mount; the wondeful Grotta Azzurra is at only 5 minutes by bus from us.

the rooms facing the street were very noisy it is the main street for all traffic, i do not fault the hotel it's something that can not be helped, some english channels on the tv would be nice like fox news

We came in November and there was a distinct odor of mold and moisture in the three rooms we rented. Other than that, not a bad stay.

Pleasant, not all the rooms have screens on the windows so the motikotos can invade the room and distrubt your sleep. But the owner is very friendly as well as the reception people. Also, the hotel is very clean

Everything was fine, I just wish that they could have provided me with an iron to press my clothes. They said that it "was not possible," but that I could go down the street to the cleaners to get my clothes pressed. I could get an iron in the bed & breakfast that I stayed in while in Rome, and it was only 80 euros a night. I certainly believe I should be able to receive the same treatment when I'm paying 175 euros a night. Other than that, the stay was excellent.
