The hotel is the located beyond walking distance from central Amsterdam. We enjoyed our stay but would prefer to be more central. The hotel is on the 48 bus route, which was a saver and once familiar with the route was excellent. The hotel was clean and well run, they really need to change the carpets though. Sleep quality was just a 5 as the mattress is covered by a layer of plastic.

We booked a double room but the beds where 2 single toghether, didn't really like, we asked reception about it and they told us all their rooms are like this but we checked pictures on their webside and we saw rooms with double beds. The location is a bit away from the center, and there is one bus every 15 minutes (transport in amsterdam is so expensive) so you will spend lot of money on transport.

It truly was an artistic endeavour pertaining to works adorning the walls surrounding reception, the room itself was rather meh for the price paid (unless views of factories are considred art nouveau). I am guessing that for a high season last second booking we did alright in that it wasn't a dive, but the 1st night we ended up wasting money on cabs when the bus out front gets you to central station rather easily and for only a couple Euro. Next time we will stay in the city so we don't have to contend with commuting but if you want something away from it all then you can't go wrong here.

This is a very nice hotel located 10 minute busride from Central Railway Station. I was happy to have selected this hotel for my 3 day stay in Amsterdam. Staff are very professional and friendly. Room is equipped with top quality fittings and also has a hot water kettle for a quick coffee or tea. I would return again to this hotel on my next stay in Amsterdam.

Nice hotel, modern building, interiors in good conditions, We had the "Deluxe Room".It was very clean, the bathroom was very nice and very clean. The closet was just a space with a hanger for the clothes.Which is fine but I shall not call it deluxe. The staff helpful and competent. The room was very silent, I foud strange that the room door from inside it was not possible to lock. Only the cleaning staff could get in with a passepartout card, but if you forget to leave the "do not disturb sign" they may come in.So that made me a bit nervous hearing their noises in the corridor cleaning around. They come every day and make up the room. The bed wasn't one mattress but was two, separated , which makes it more difficult if you like to have some intimacy with your partner. It was too soft but still comfortable and we slept well. I've herad that that is a standard for dutch hotels. Breakfast was probably made of caviar and champagne because it costed €17 so we went to town. There are 2 computers in the hall with free internet and free wi-fi. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone but the price was quite expensive maybe because it was between easter and the Queen's birthday celebrations. Water is a theft, all over the city, a 0,5lt bottle can cost you even €2,50, so if you need water, behind the Dam Square there is a big Albert Heijn supermarket where you can roam through the typical dutch food habits and find a €0,20 bottle of water. The bus to the aiport is much more expensive than the train. And it takes over one hour, the train takes ony 20 minutes. The hotel is in the outskirts of town so you need to take the bus n.48,it stops just in front of the hotel, it's very quick (10 mins), to the trainstation.the bus n.348 with a different route will take you to the hotel, once every hour.Pls note that the 348 bus stop is not in same bus stop of bus n.48.check out the correct stop, there are works in front of trainstation so the bus stop might change.

The price may have been expensive because there was a big congress in Amsterdam that weekend and rooms were difficult to find. I would stay again if the rates were lower. There is interesting architecture and a museum nearby, from the 'Amsterdam School' of Architecture.

It was very loud, parties all night long, staff does not know anything about tourist attractions, restaurants, etc. They even gave us the wrong departure time for the bus, so we had to take a taxi to the airport. There isn't any paved way to the hotel from the bus station, you get wet and dirty or you need to walk in the street. They put smokers into non-smoking rooms. Beds are very bad for your neck and back, they are not able to change pillows which are very bad, instead of that they offered me some towels to ly on. Breakfast is ok, however, way too expensive in comparison to cafes in Amsterdam's city center. This hotel is really recommended for a short business trip and young people, not for families and people who are not interested in partying all night long. You should be familiar with Amsterdam as hotel staff cannot help you at all. Nothing in walking distance, you are forced to take the bus. No shuttle from the airport and to the airport, although it is mentioned in the interet that there is one. Taxi to the airport is 40 Euros! On weekends and holidays no early bus to the airport!

A very good hotel with nice rooms, near the centre of 'Dam (about 5 minutes in car), calm, clean... The only thing as usual that is expensive is the parking (22 per days) and the mini-bar! Ah ah ah! It's possible to have smoking rooms which is a good thing beacause it's very rare in this city...

I was travelling with my Fiance for the weekend to celebrate our engagement. Unfortunately there was a conference on this weekend and this was the only accommodation we could get therefore we had to pay over and above the normal rate. The hotel is clean and rooms are quite spacious but it is quite far out of town and you will have to get a bus in and out. We bought a 72hr ticket which was reasonably cheap however it was inconvenient having to come back in the evening by bus to go out again. The night staff when we arrived were very unfriendly and don't expect to get anything to eat after 11pm and there is nothing else near either. The other night porter was lovely and very helpful on the other nights. The bar/restaurant is lovely.

The hotel is beautiful and functional. In my opinion, given its location, it should be a little cheaper, or the price should include the breakfast. Anyway, everything is fine and corresponding the description, and the service quality is unexceptionable. If you take the bus to go to the centre (station), do not use the stop in front of the hotel, and have a little (really little) walk to the next stop: two buses (22 and 38) stop there instead of one, and it will take two strips instead of three ;-)

The hotel environment is great, but our matrice was not double but was one for twin beds!Furthermore, our room was facing the highspeedroad so it was pretty noisy.Beyond that we really loved our stay there and the price was very good for that hotel.I definetely recommend!

The hotel is not exactly "centrally located", it is more like towards the periphery of the city. The surroundings are more like an industrial/lower-income residential site. Not bad, dangerous or ugly, but definitely not the Amsterdam canals...Does not matter too much, since the bus station is right outside the front door. I would recommend a day-ticket, sold at the reception and good for all the public tranportation lines in Amsterdam. Buses and trams are very clean and not crowded. Very safe, even late at night. Not worth driving your car in Amsterdam, because it's very difficult to find parking. The hotel staff was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Rooms were large and clean and quiet. We did not spend too much time in the hotel and did not have breakfast there, but the common areas seemed nice and spacious. The underground parking is small (surprising, given the location and the size of the hotel) but otherwise well lit and secure. Overall, a pleasant stay at a nice hotel. Oh, and we liked the two plastic cows in front of the hotel: spider-cow and super-cow...Just like in the pictures...

We wanted to stay outside of the city proper for our first overnight so that we could deal with jet lag, etc. The staff was very helpful in showing us how to get into the city and answering our questions. They were able to sell us a 2 day pass right at the hotel so that saved us a bit of time with transportation. We chose not to eat at the hotel even for breakfast as the prices appeared a little high compared to other places in Amsterdam. Everywhere else that we stayed in Europe offered breakfast with the price of the hotel.

Grazie.

a nice hotel but a little way out of amsterdam centre, needed to catch a bus every time travelling in and out of the centre (no 49) bus fares were cheap though. for the price it is value for money the web pape should give more info on how to get there from the bus station, we had to spend a lot of time at begining of weekend trying to find out where the hotel was etc.

The hotel is situated just outside the centre of Amsterdam, only 10 minutes by bus from the Central Station. We offen walked to/from the centre of Amsterdam in about 40 minutes. Due to the location the hotel was very nice and quiet. The only thing to be aware of is that breakfast is charged ekstra 15 Euro pr. person. We will definitely stay at this hotel again, when coming to Amsterdam.

It's a nice not too expensive hotel, it's a little bit out from the centre but not to far. Buses run every 15 minutes from outside the hotel . The rooms were very clean and for English speakers there are a few decent English speaking channels on the TV for relaxing at night time. Not just CNN and BBCWorld which seems to be so common in other places.

Very good hotel, however breakfast extortionate at EUR15 per person!! Very nice bar, relaxed atmosphere, great decor. Bar staff excellent. The odd reception staff-member a bit off-hand, but no major complaints. Watch out for the taxis....they love to rip you off. Should NOT be more than EUR12 to the city. Take the bus....very efficient and on time, and only EUR1.60!! Overall very enjoyable and I'd return.

A nice hotel outside the city centre. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and a frequent service takes about 10 minutes into the centre. I will stay there again.

The hotel is very confortable and luxurious, it's not in the city center but there is a bus stop just in front of it and in 15 min you arrive in the center. The room are very clean and nice.

location is a bit far off from the city center (which is nonetheless easily reachable by bus from the hotel). the surroundings are dull and industrial, but quite at night. some of the stuff were somewhat rude, but overall the service was good. the room was really nice, spacious and luminous. if you don't mind not being in the city center, then this hotel is really good.

you should specifie which extra expences the clients have reserving an hotel through the web pages. We had a fee of 30€ ca. which we didn't know we had to pay. It does not make the difference for a holiday, but as your services are very precise, you should let the clients know it.
