The hotel is nicely located 5 mins from the Centraal station. My only wish is that the room is slightly bigger and wireless internet to be provided free-of-charge. They have a great coffee machine!

Our stay at hotel A Train was fine. Its location was convnient for all the shops resteraunts and the Railway Station. Beakfast was contiental with a selection of cereals, meats cheeses and breads with tea coffee and Orange juice. The romm was small and clean woth a wet romm with a showe/toilet. The room serviceing could be improved the bed was made but a bit more cleaning could have been done.

Nice hotel with a train theme. Front rooms have quite a lot of road noise but this makes you feel part of Amsterdam! No air conditioning so you might need the windows open in warm weather. Friendly and competent service. Overall a good value hotel for Amsterdam.

Too much money for what you get. Only real advantage: No way to get lost. In front of Amsterdam Centraal Station.

The A-train hotel is very close to the Central Station, which is extremely helpful in Amsterdam. My husband and I stayed in a family room with our 3 children. The room was very quiet and spacious for Amsterdam standards. The only inconvenience was that the shower has no curtain or shower door, which spills water all over the bathroom. Breakfast was simple but good, and the front desk people spoke good English. We will stay at the A-Train Hotel again if we go back to Amsterdam.

+ Excellent location. Helpfull staff. - Extremely small rooms - you can't imagine it by photos. For Internet and even for watching CNN you must pay separately. Free internet at the lobby doesn't work. In sum, hotel is Very expensive.

In the reservation i asked for a 2 double rooms end thay gave us 2 twins. not a big problem but.... anyway a good hotel, i reccomend it.

How to reach A-Train Hotel
By carTake the Highway(s): A1(E231), A2(E36), A4(E19) or the A8(E22)
till you have reached the A10 "RING" around Amsterdam.
Follow the "RING" A10, clockwise or anti-clockwise, until you reach
EXIT S103 or S114. Take one of these exits and follow the signs
CENTRUM/CENTRAAL STATION, after a while you will see signs
for the CENTER PARKING. Park your car in this parking, if you walk out of the parking the A-Train Hotel is on the other side of the street.
By train
Leave 'Amsterdam Centraal station' from exit "WEST" and turn right, walk 50 meters,turn left and go over the bridge. Across the road, the 6th building on the right is the A-Train Hotel.
