Wonderful hotel! Staff was the best. Bed was the most confortable I had on my trip to three countries. I had a single room. It was a small room by U.S. standards, but much nicer than those same standards. I would recommend the Convent to anyone staying in Amsterdam. (the breakfast buffet was also a 10.)

room carpet and walls were old and soiled. Bathroom counter was beat up/old. Amenities were plentiful and services i.e. internet/cable television great. Sauna/workout areas were not warm/too small. No bedskirt and exposed box springs looked tacky. Needs remodel investment. Our stay at the Conrad Hilton in Brussels was the same price for a much higher quality room.
