The staff was very friendly and a good help. As the rooms weren't ready yet we could leave our luggage in the rooms anyway. The rooms were nice and clean. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport. There were good restaurants nearby. We were in the city very quickly (on foot). We recommand it to others and would go there again.

The relationship between price/quality is excellent and the location is perfect for who wants to stay near the museums and Vondel Park. The Hotel is located on PC Hooftstraat, the most famous street to go shopping in Amsterdam. The room and the breakfast are ok. I recommend it!

I work in Amsterdam during the week and I would stay in this hotel every week if there were vacancies that suited my requirements.

Overall, the hotel is nicely renovated. We did have problems opening our door. The electronic key did not work. We mentioned this several times to the reception, but nothing was ever done to correct the problem. We had to ask the reception to open the door every time we got in. Also, when we checked in, the lady mentioned breakfast was included. When we checked-out, it was charged on the bill. Not a nice surprise. They did correct it, however. The hotel is located in a very good area, and is very clean. Price-quality wise, i would recommend it. I think maybe we had just an unlucky room.

Camere piccolissime ma pulite. Ottimo per 1 max 2 notti. Peccato che si trovi lungo la strada piu' trafficata di Amsterdam, la mattina si dorme poco...

The rooms and all the facilities are small.(tv, table, closet etc). breakfast room is below ground with no windows, no elevator and difficult steps. at half the price you can get in Germany a decent 3 star hotel. This hotel should be rated maximum 2 stars. the internet WIFI was good. I would not stay there again.

Very well situated for the main art museums (200m), and the Leidseplein nightlife and shopping (a direct No 2 or No 5 tram will take you to/from the more distant station/red light area or it's a 30-40 minute walk). The hotel is situated in a quiet street lined with designer boutiques. Unfortunately there is still work going on in the street, though not in the hotel itself, but I didn't find it too intrusive personally. The staff are welcoming and helpful. Breakfast buffet is OK but not outstanding for 3 stars. My ensuite room was a bit small, with insufficient storage space: expected a bit more for 60 Euros a night, but I suppose Amsterdam is as pricey as any major European capital. Overall, a good hotel, wic is not perfect but can be recommended, especially for the staff welcome and attentions, convenient location, and relative quietness.

I was very disappointed with this hotel and will not be staying here in the future. Our room was not ready at 2 pm because of an employee shortage in the cleaning department. We were told room 510 would be cleaned and ready. When we came back at 4 pm they gave us room 511. This was on the top floor (attic) tucked neatly in the corner with the sloping roof line. Now I am a big guy, 6'1", 245 lbs. It was easy to bump a head, knee or elbow. You had to sit in the bath to take a show, which was surprisingly relaxing. I need to talk about the positives with this hotel; it was within 300 meters from Rijk; the front desk person was doing the best he could with the limited rooms. They also had the BEST breakfast I have ever had in Europe. The spread was like a smorgasboard at Denny's. Pancakes; scrambled and hard boiled eggs; bacon; ham; cheese... definitely well worth the 10 euros. In the future I will be looking for a place in the Jordaan area, west of the Dam.
