Excellent stay particularly appreciated on a very rainy holiday in Amsterdam. Homy and roomy bedroom, luxury full breakfast and pleasant staff. With Venere'special deal it was certainly the best accommodation in town, but why is the free internet access restricted to a business area often full? For a hotel of this quality, it seems clumsy and a little bit out of date! Location of the hotel, in the Jordan area, was also perfect, in front of a canal boat stop and near of many trendy shops, cafes and restaurants. For older travellers,be aware that the premises have a complicated path to the rooms

Got a great price on an executive class room at venere.com (when the hotel's own website said they were fully booked) and, as recommended somewhere else, signed up for the hotel's frequent guest program. Emailed the concierge beforehand for restaurant recommendations and reservations, and when we arrived we were shown to our gorgeous two-story room overlooking the canal and then went out for a great meal at the restaurant recommended by the concierge. I would definitely stay here again.

Primarily provided room was terrible - low ceilings (~230cm), loud voices from nearby rooms, each word and step could be heard especially at night. No possibility to change room for first 2 days. New room was much better, but still no shower cup and ear sticks in 5* hotel! All prices are too high, especially for Internet and breakfast.

This was our first time in Amsterdam and we are so glad we chose the Pulitzer. The location was great, the room was charming and comfortable, and the staff was wonderful. I have no complaints.

The restaurant staff was terrible. Were I the hotel manager, I would fire them all including the F&B manager who obviously has given no training or incorrect training to the staff. They were rude, poor service, and a no care attitude!

It was the first time at Amsterdam we took two executive rooms bed and breakfast the breakfast was full of good meals but the problem was the waiting to get a good placed table, we had to get up early
