Hotel Princess - Amsterdam

The male staff here were sarcastic and unfamiliar with customer service, however the girl on reception was friendly and helpful.

Well it's an Hostel, so that means Bunk beds, and when there is 4 beds in a small room plus the lockers, and a little sink it gets really small and crowded in the room. But if you want to keep your budget for something else and don't plan on spending longtime in the room, it is a smart way to do it. But from the experience of other people, try to find a better hostel with a bar or a night life next to it.

The noise of the street is the bad point for this hotel .

Staff are not exactly the friendly welcoming type of hosts. The toilets were unbelievably small, and usually out of toilet paper. The hallways were never cleaned the 4 days I was there. During breakfast, only once did a staffperson halfheartedly try to bus the tables, this was left to the guests, and we didn't know where to put the dirty dishes. Advertised internet connection never functioned at all. Still, it was the cheapest deal I could find with available rooms. For a budget traveller who can put up with inconvenience, and a bit of sloppiness, this might still be the way to go-

I'd be back in a shot if there was a lift. Love the humour of a staff member or two. Pops xx

great hotel, great staff ! remember value for money its nod so fancy. but great for non spoiled people !

Good position but: my room was awful and microscopic, staff not really nice, vapid breakfast, showers downstairs with smell of smoke inside and, first of all, very bad quality compared with price!

Adequate as a budget hotel but perhaps a little overpriced in comparison with similar establishments. My single room was very small and spartan, but clean. Toilet and shower facilities were shared, but clean and no problems. Would consider staying here again.

This hotel is placed on a very noisy intersection with trams coming and going on both streets every 10 minutes. The hall door banged our bedroom door every time it was opened (by someone else) making it noisy but also making us think someone was coming into our room constantly. The stairs were very steep and room was tiny. Although we paid for ensuite it had only shower, the toilet down the hall was shared with others. The cost of the room was E20 more than the web pages indicated.

Everything was Ok and correct. Breakfast was good. Staff was very frendly.

Friendly little hotel in a very nice area. Easy to access all points of the city from there by public transportation. Friendly staff.

This hotel is located in the middle om the centre of amsterdam. Its walking distance to almost anything.. The rooms are ok , and the bathrooms are clean, breakfast is standard, staff is helpful and friendly. If youre a light sleeper- brings earplugs, the tram runs rigth by in 4 directions and in summer it gets really warm (no A/C) But if its only a place to sleep it off, this hotel gives grat value for money.

A small, clean, very spartan hotel. Completely OK for just sleeping over nights. The common shower didn't have almost any water, though, so it was hard to wash my hair. The hotel feels very central, close to the action around Leidseplein.

La atención del personal es muy buena, la ubicación es ideal, caminando se llega perfecto a varios puntos importantes y enfrente pasa el tranvía. Lo único que no me pareció bien, es que en las fotografías de la página no se ve el tamaño tan reducido de las habitaciones; de hecho, me quedé con la inquietud de preguntar cuál era la habitación que muestran

I didn't know that I was going to share the toilet with 6 more rooms! And there is no shower! My room was incredibly small ( just the space for a bed and a table) and I could hear the noises of the whole floor, but at least it was quite clean.breakfast was really poor. Not worth that money.

le camere sono poco spaziose...con letti a castello....i bagni non sono in camera... e non sono tanto accoglienti...cmq sia siamo stati bene... e si e' speso relativamente poco...

A nice and friendly accomodation to a fair price.

Very nice place. Tram is across the street and it's a 15 min ride to central station. Staff was very helpful and provided us with everything we asked for. I will be staying here when I go back next year. The only negative is the hotel will not accept credit cards, this was unexpected and did cause me to waste time and money having to change money, but now that I know this it will not be a problem next time.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly sufficient for a we. No luxuries but comfortable and welcoming.
