Very good location, the hotel just is 10 mins from the central station. Also, I can walk to the palace and red light within 10 mins.By the way, there is no elevator. Be careful if you have big luggage.

bad quality for price. The room was very small and not enough clean. The place in which the hotel is situated is very good. We met all kinds of people (guys and adults, europeans and others).

The only possible plus points for this hotel is location and the bed was comfortable. The shower unit was broken. Flooring tiles in the shower were broken and sharp. The lighting in the room was inadeqate (impossible to read). The window latch was broken and impossible to leave open. The room was tiny - more in keeping with a single. The breakfast room was dangerous with trailing wires. There was no indication as to what was available for breakfast and no service. Food ran out and was not replaced. There were insufficient plates and cutlery. The price vis a vis service and facilities was a complete rip off. I will not be staying again and would not recommend the hotel to anyone.

highlights: central location. bad side: room was small. paid quite high price compared to other hotels, maybe due to its central location. but price doesn't reflect the room at all. no hand towel and floor mat for the toilet.

The hotel was in a great location, but the rooms were very worn, but the worst part was the noise! VERY thin walls and noise all night long. We did not get much sleep in the 2 nights we were there.

Biggest problem with this place is that there is no lift...We had to lug 3 heavy suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. The walls were thin and you could hear conversations in the next room. The room was big enough and the beds comfortable. Clean towels daily. The breakfast was good. The location was excellent. About 2 blocks from the Central Station. My wake up call was about 2 hours late. Good thing I didn't have to catch a flight. So if your looking for a clean room without any perks at a good price with an excellent location stay here.

the room was not soo clean and old fournished...(u should not spent lot of time close in the hotel room in amsterdam) but in generally was good the bed was very confortable and the room was very warm. Is in very central position, very close to the most intersting place to visit. Nice breakfast was provided.

For an old Amsterdam hotel it offered more than expecterd. Very pleased with our stay. The location is excellant. I would advise anyone not very fit to not take a room above the 2nd floor. The stairs are narrow and steep and lugging a lot of luggage or attemping to negotiate them after a long night on the town can be a challenge.

That is not a hotel, it's a youth hostel, but too much expensive. The situation is perfect

VERY SMALL ROOMS AND BROKEN BEDS, BUT CHEAP AND IN THE MAIN STREET. ONLY FOR FRIENDS AND YOUNG PEOPLE, NOT FOR KIDS AND OLDER PEOPLE

Me and seven other friends decieded to stop at the Hotel Manofa as recommended by a friend. Rooms we stayed in Quad: The window was held up by a small pringles can! Also my friend got woken up by a rat nibbling under the floor boards! When he complained to reception, they saud "next door was having renovation work been done and the rat came in from next door (What a laugh!!!) 2 x Twin: One twin had a tool box left in there. Final comment. This hotel needs a serious refurbishment to bring it upto date, as the carpet are very worn and there are cracks in the ceiling of the bedrooms. But the hotel is in a good location, only 5mins from central station.

My friends and I stayed in a triple room with private dacilities. We were rather happy with the condition of the room for the price paid. I would not reccommend it for people of age or for people with small kids because: a) there is young people living there mainly with all the consequences ;) b) there are very steep staircase and no elevator I should specaially mark the location. It is really very convenient - all the attractions are just at hand. So all young people who are going to Amsterdam to have fun and not stay in the hotel and who are caring about the budget - you can easily stay at Manofa.

My room is clean and employees are very friendly. But unfortunately for me, there were noisy people in the next room. I can hear the noise and sound of TV. If it would not be so, I was more comfortable. Anyway, this hotel is very good!

after one night we changed of hotel. Manofa hotel is not a budget hotel. Even a youth hostel would be cleaner and nicer. Room, public areas dusgusting, marijuana smell everywhere, even in rooms, bathroom disgusting too (no toilet paper, flush out of order). And maybe the worse: stains on all sheets and towels.... Hopefully we had the chance to change of hotel and go to the Koreaener (also on your website). We paid an extra 240 euros for a private bathroom, the price/quality is really bad, but at least it was A BIT cleaner than the Manofa Hotel

This hotel is honestly a 5 minute walk from CENTRALL station...but the area is bad...its in the worst area to experience amsterdam!! i wont stay here again, but i do not regret it b/c it was somewhere to sleep... We luckily got a room facing the back so it was relatively quiet...this whole area is very shady!! full of ghetto and crazy ppl....bye

We booked a room for 4 people. The room was quite clean however we all experienced an outbreak of bed bugs which did not make for a good weekend. 2 weeks later we all still have scabs that are itchy!

This is a rather run down property which is rapidly being taken over by the less celubrious members of the backpacking community. Who are gradually trashing the place and find it hilarious to grab breakfast rolls before other guests get a chance to eat anything!! The staff at the desks are excellent, however they are let down by the cleaners. For instance my brothers room had human excrement in the bed. we were disturbed by wasters (I won't insult backpackers!) jumping around for 1 1/2 hours late at night until we reported this to the desk. Ths was instantly remedied by the staff member.

We didnt get what we wish, we asked for a bed for a babay, nobody care about us and weve wait on the reception until 2:oo with the small baby. If you still have this hotel in your reservationssystem i dont make never again a hotelreservation with you. I travel a lot over all and never saw a hotel like this, all dirty, no conditions to sleep, no competence with the employees, really to forget about.

I was not happy with the hotel and almost feel that it ruined our time away. I booked 2 double bedrooms through yourselves. When we got there we actually had 1 room with two single beds shoved together. I wouldn't of minded so much but the bed bases were too small for the matresses so every time you sat on the edge of the bed, the whole lot fell apart/off. My friends room, also meant to be a double room, once again had 2 single beds shoved together and a 3rd single bed in their room. When i complained about the rooms and said that this was not what i had paid for i was told that I could have a double room for 1 night only. I told them to forget it, what use is that. I will never go back there and to be honest i will probably never book through venere for anything ever again. I feel cheated by both yourselves and the Hotel Manofa.

This hotel is good if your travelling with friends. It is very noisy if your room is near the stairs, as ours was. But who cares if you just want a warm room and comfortable bed. It was clean enough. The staff are alright. I wouldnt recommend it for families or anyone who wants to go to sleep at a decent hour. But I will definately come back again for a mad one!! Thanx Manofa and see you in the summer.

This hotel was fantastically located and a great base for a weekend in Amsterdam. The shower was good, beds comfortable and the room nice a big. The windows even opened for some fresh air. while its not the ritz, its certainly a good, comfortable hotel.

As I didn't get to stay at the Manofa due to a double booking, I can't comment on the rooms at the Manofa but the service I received was excellent & I was pleased with the alternative hotel we were sent to. I will try to book the Manofa again.

I´d never had such a bad hotel before. It was so noisy, that we could only sleep 2-3 ours a night.I was in Amsterdam for work ,so i was not able to relax and be fit for the next day. Better sleep on the railway-station!

A reasonable price in a very central location, however, we stayed on a saturday night and because of being on bustling main street, there was a lot of street noise. Sunday night was much more quiet. If you are looking for a central location, its hard to beat. We needed two rooms, and they only had one, but found us a second room next door for the agreed price. By the way, the safe in our room did not work.

I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel at all, the bedspreads had cigarette burn marks in them, and didn't look very clean, neither did the towels. The curtains in the room I stayed in were filthy. There was an exposed socket in the bathroom, that had cellotape over it. The complementarty breakfast was unpleasant. The safe in our room didn't work, so we had to get the key from the duty manager. The vending machines in the lobby were very tempremental. To conclude, I was not at all impressed with the hotel, in particular it's cleanliness. I think in terms of value for money, it wasn't great, If the place had been clean, and the decor a little less drab, then it would have been value for money. The hotel could certainly benefit from a lick of paint, and a good clean.
