Staff at reception was friendly and provided information about where to park our car, which tram number to take and offered to book museum tickets for us. Bathroom was really small but clean, and bed was comfortable enough.

The rooms and bathrooms were little rough but clean. The staff very polite ,helpful and english speaking. Breakfast v.good - cheese(two kinds), ham, eggs, etc. milk, coffee, tea. Very good connection with trams and buses. Nice Italian restaurant with low prices near the hotel (next house)

I was visiting Amsterdam for the first time. This hotel was great because of its location near Leidsplein which is a touristy area with a lot to do and see nearby. The hotel was worth the price and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

The location was really great. It was within walking distance to many great sites: Leidseplein, Rijksmusuem, Albert Cuyp Market, Heineiken brewery..to name a few. The staff was also really helpful and friendly; and the breakfast was really good. It was a nice surprise.

Very good little hotel, clean and neatly organized, just an easy tram ride from Amsterdam's central station. The staff was very friendly and competent, and the breakfast was delightful. The place is unpretentious but it has the things that budget travelers like me care about: easy access to mass transit, safe surroundings, clean beds and bathroom and a good breakfast to start your day with right foot. I would stay there again any time and I strongly recommend it to any budget travelers visiting Amsterdam.

La Boheme Hotel offers 18 comfortable single, twin, or double, and triple guest rooms. All twins and triples (15 in total) feature a private shower and toilet, while the 3 single rooms have a sink, but share the shower and toilet.All rooms are non-smoking rooms and are provided with modern facilities such as TV, and telephone. How to reach La Boheme Hotel
By trainGet off at Amsterdam Central Station: from here you can take tram no. 1, 2, or 5 to Leidse Plein. (Buy the ticket, the so called strippenkaart, at the station, or try to pay in the tram itself, which is more expensive). Get off at the Leidse Plein, turn right into Marnixstreet and you will see the yellow sign of the La Boheme Hotel soon after, on the right hand side.
By airplane From Schiphol Airport: catch bus no. 370, taking you directly to the Leidse Plein. The bus stop is 200 meters away from the hotel (costs about €4,00).
Alternatively, you can also take one of the trains (running in less than 15-minute intervals) to the Amsterdam Central Station. Then follow the above directions (total cost: about €6,00).
