We were very happy with the location of La Boheme, it is very central to attractions, museums, trams, plenty of Restaurants etc. The only downside are the narrow staircase and getting your bags up and down, also when other guests are departing early, or coming in late you are woken by them moving around.

Great location for a budget hotel. Staff very friendly and courteous. Only drawback was the narrow, very steep and winding staircase up to our room on the 3rd floor. But we were warned in previous comments so expected this. Streetside rooms are noisy as trolley goes by and there is theatre across the street. This was our 2nd visit to Amsterdam and we love the city and the museums and energy. Check bus number for transfer from airport to hotel, there was a little confusion as bus number had changed. But bus was way to go. Very cheap, around 4 Euro per person.

Very well located near the theatre, bars and restaurants of the Leidsdeplein. Staff friendly, helpful and well-informed. Reasonably spacious room for a single, clean and pleasant, backing onto a communal terrace area. Shower facilities (shared) were fine. Some problems with noise at night as footsteps in the breakfast room are heard quite clearly in the room. But overall a nice place to stay.

Positive. Close to the main points of interset but without crowds of people in the street. Negative. Some of the staff give inaccurate information about the location of a particular institution

Staff at reception was friendly and provided information about where to park our car, which tram number to take and offered to book museum tickets for us. Bathroom was really small but clean, and bed was comfortable enough.

I was visiting Amsterdam for the first time. This hotel was great because of its location near Leidsplein which is a touristy area with a lot to do and see nearby. The hotel was worth the price and the employees were very friendly and helpful.

The location was really great. It was within walking distance to many great sites: Leidseplein, Rijksmusuem, Albert Cuyp Market, Heineiken brewery..to name a few. The staff was also really helpful and friendly; and the breakfast was really good. It was a nice surprise.

Very good little hotel, clean and neatly organized, just an easy tram ride from Amsterdam's central station. The staff was very friendly and competent, and the breakfast was delightful. The place is unpretentious but it has the things that budget travelers like me care about: easy access to mass transit, safe surroundings, clean beds and bathroom and a good breakfast to start your day with right foot. I would stay there again any time and I strongly recommend it to any budget travelers visiting Amsterdam.
