Hotel Jupiter - Amsterdam

It exceeds my standard My interaction with staff at Hotel Jupiter ( as with missis as with mister) was only positive

According to hotel prices in Amsterdam, in the Jupiter Hotel you can have a good relationship quality/price

Room for 3 people: very clean and spacious. The only flaw is a bad smell in the bathroom. The breakfast is not plentiful, but sufficient. The public areas are very very small. A computer is at customer's disposal. The most important museums are 5 min. walking distance and the city centre 10 min.

Good value of money (43euro/night)

The hotel has a great location. Easily walk to restaurants, trams and stores. The breakfast was great as well. We were not impressed with the customer service especially for an older gentleman (maybe the owner?), never a smile, never even had a hello when we got there. The rest of the staff was wonderful and very helpful. The hotel needs a serious renovation. Rooms are really old and musty. Bathrooms are TINY. Steps are so narrow you have to go up sideways, plus the banisters are not very sturdy. They do have an elevator but it only goes to floors 3 and up (not to the second). Another good thing is that there is free wireless connection.

-the hotel owner is not nice AT ALL and we stayed 3 nights -no heating !!and extra blankets smelt really bad -breakfast is light -rooms are small ,just enough to put your luggage -the owner doesnt like smoking and you CAN see it everywhere in the hotel -staff is really Nice and -free internet in the room Well I dont recommand this hotel ...go somewhere else

The hotel is in a great location with the central station eing only 30 minutes at a stroll. the hotel is clean and the breakfast was what you woud expect for the price range that the hotel falls into. There are great links to the airport and to town, if you don't want to walk, as is very close the lots of museums. The staff were very helpful prior to arrival keeping in contact by e-mail and making good suggestions, after I'd made a routine enquiry. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget as although the 4 bed room we stayed in was compact it had everything advertised, complimentary breakfast, was clean and tidy and again was in a great location.

Clean and nice place, near from city center. Good breakfast, above normal average. We booked a room with king size bed but instead we have two separate beds. Aside form that, everything was perfect.

We were travelling with family, two adults and two teenagers. The room was not so spacious for four, but we managed. The breakfast was very good comparing with scandinavian standards. The stairs was very steep and would be difficult for eldery people. Location was very good, the Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum, Heineken museum, restaurants and shopping were near. You could walk to all places.

We were satisfied with our stay in Jupiter hotel Amsterdam. However, we thought the proprietor could have been more welcoming or friendly. Also, the lady in the dining room was also unfriendly and removed the tea making facility one morning while we were still eating breakfast. The location was exellent and the breakfast was quite adequate.
