Nice hotel in an extremely convenient part of town, close to the most important attractions of Amsterdam; price is a little too high for the standards, but size really matters...room 203 was incredibly small, around 10 sqm, with barely enough space to move in two persons...

too expensive (almost 250 euro per night including card charge and city tax) for small room with too small private toilet and shower room. besides, no elevator, no electrical outlet in the room! although i knew the busy season with big conferrence in the city, i though it too expensive.

No elevator, very small and unconfortable steps ; bedroom on the 5th floor very small, central heating was not working, windows were not closing properly, and electric radiator was provided to help getting not too cold ; unfortunetly electricity break down during the night, and so we were cold and had to wake up and take shower in the complete dark ! The flow of the Shower was not clogged ! Internet Wi-Fi was out of order most of our stay. Not much smile from the personnal, and no price rebate offered. I will not recommend this address.

This was a nice place. Rooom was pretty small, but if you are just looking for a a place to stay that's reasonably nice, in the centre, quiet and very reasonably priced, this is a good place to go. In most places in Amsterdam you face a trade-off between closeness to centre and quietness- this place does pretty well on both.

We were in room 101. Very quiet, with a view on the garden. Incredible in a big city. Hotel location excellent. Rooms are "euro style" (a bit small) but we don't spend our time in the room, do we? Bathroom not designed for big people. Curtain somehow difficult to handle. Bed very confortable. The best nights I spent during my european journey. Security excellent. Breakfast and services (coffee, etc) 24/24 excellent. Highly recommended.

I was staying in a room located in the top floor. Room space is very very limited with the leaning roof. Breakfast is not satisfying and it costs 6 euro per person. Location is okay but still has a 20-30 min walk from the city center.

A decent location on the canal next to the Hermitage musuem. Good walk to Dam square but well served by number 9 tram. Continental breakfast only but free tea and coffee available all day from breakfast room/kitchen. The "TV lounge" is the breakfast room but TV in room and who wants to go to Amsterdam and watch TV? The usual steep and bendy Amsterdam stairs. No lift.

One of the best features of the hotel is its location. The hotel is located on one of quiet streets but very close to the city centre and famous red light district. It has the atmosphere of hidden place - oriental style with black and white wallpaper, a bit dark, but nice. The staff is very welcoming. In general we had a nice stay.
