The furniture of the room (including the carpet) were quite old. But apart from that, the bathroom was renovated and clean, the room was clean, bed was comfy and clean. The receptionist very friendly and gave good advice. The hotel is within a 3-5 minute walk to Leidseplein, the main downton area of Amsterdam. It was definitely worth it.

Location is really perfect; between walking distance from EVERYTHING in town. Rooms where perfectcly clean; toilet was alright...not more (soap dispencer was broken and no bath mat was provided); negative: no extra pillow in the room and couldn't get one from reception either. Breakfast: very good in a very nice room with nice service; service was in general very nice. Overall: great place for a good price.

The hotel was ideally placed for getting to the centre of Amsterdam both on foot and by tram. The hotel staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable, although there is some noise from the trams at the front of the building. Breakfast was good with a variety of different choices and was included in the price for the rooms.

This hotel is rather small, but location is great. The room i stayed was rather small. The hotel staff was helpful and courteous. The breakfast was also good despite of small selection of breakfast items. Be sure to check out the patio behind the breakfast room, it's quite pretty. And most importantly, it has an elevator even though it is quite small. Overall, i had a pleasant stay.

The hotel has a convenient location, near t the Van Gogh museum, and you can easily walk to the city center. There's a very near tram stop that allows to get from the central station to the hotel. My room was not particularly spacious but it wasn't bad. I think that the overall quality/price ratio was convenient.

The staff when we arrived at this hotel were great and they even let us off paying the first night as our flight was cancelled with the strong winds. The hotel is like a maze and if there was a fire I dont think I would survive as you get lost if you take the stairs. The lift is laughable as it fits one person with a case haha. Overall I was not expecting the ritz and I was pleased with the hotel overal, if your not too bothard about your accommadation then this hotel is right for you!!

To reach our room, we got on a tiny elevator with our cases and then climed 15 narrow steps. The room, for three adults was very small and the bathroom, the size of a cupboard! The shower drain was blocked with hair and greace. The breakfast was poor and the service incompetent.

L'hotel est situe pres du parc, les locations de velos sont proche. Nous avons apprecie la possibilite de garer la voiture dans un parking couvert ( supplement )et de pouvoir laisser le soir les velos dans l'hotel.

Very plesant hotel with very relax atmosphere, frendly and helpfull personal. Reviews of former guests helpd me a lot to chose this hotel during our stay in Dam.You could get all kind of info and help in planing from the persons on the desk. Hotel is situated in center of everithing , near LeidsPlain , chanel buss, tram stations in any direction . Brekfast and brekfast atmosphere was exelant very intimate with vue to the back garden . On sugestion from former guest revuew I asked for the room on back side which was immediately accepted . All together we are very satisfied with our 5 days in Damm and with the "home" i EV92.

I was very pleased with my stay... The staff at my arrival was very helpful and helped me plan out some of my weekend. It is well-located right along the tram line and is easily walkable from the Leidseplein. My only comments would be relating to their credit card policy. They advertise themselves as welcoming credit cards, but on arrival they asked for me to pay as much in cash as possible and then added a 4% surcharge to any portion paid with a credit card. They should publish this information on their web info so customers are prepared for their visit. Otherwise, a great establishment for a relatively inexpensive price...

A reasonably priced hotel ideal for a short stay when you only use it as a base. Good location for museums & restaurants but it's a 30 mins walk to the station, shops etc., so use the trams.

The room was quite cramped and we didn't get a non smoking room as requested. We complained daily about a strong smell of blocked drains in the bathroom and although staff usually responded fairly promptly there was an evening when a lady solely managing the hotel couldn't leave reception to address the problem and didn't know where drain cleaning fluid was kept.

The hotel is nice and if you would like to book it, choose a room without the window to the front, because the tram is noisy. The brekfast was excelent and the employees friendly. The location is good, near a tram station.I stayed 4 night at this hotel and if I'll visit again Amsterdam I will choose the same hotel.

We were exceedingly disappointed with the Europa 92. The condition of the room was not hospitable as there was broken glass in the bed and on the floor and the smell was of rotten cabbage. We checked out immediately after finding alternate arrangements.

The hotel served it's purpose for a mid week break. Located in a nice area close to the museums and about a 20 minute walk to the centre of town. Were asked to pay when we arrived which was slightly odd - they also charged 4-5% of the bill to cover card payment. Fine overall.
