Hotel des Arts - Amsterdam

price too high for what they offer. It is really in the center, anyway. There is no telephone in the room and no common space in the hall. For breakfast they offer always the same things, everyday. I suggest it if you want to be really in the center but I considered the price too high. f.

This hotel is really well located, near the centre, and the canals. The staff is really nice, very helpful and speak french. The rooms are clean and nice. It's a bit loudy . Many stairs in the hotel. The hotel is located in Rokin, which is a big steet, about 20 minutes walk from the station. Careful, the parking is very expensive. Do not drive in Amsterdam, it's dangerous, there are bikes everywhere, tramways too and not many places to park the car.

Nice location. For a single person the room was ok. It was surprisingly quiet and everything was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.

This was our first visit to Amsterdam and we stayed for three nights. Nice, friendly staff. Good breakfast. The room was very clean. Excellent location in the heart of Amsterdam. The only thing we didn´t like was the smell in the bathroom, I think it came from the sewer. Anyhow, we didn´t tell the staff about it so there is no meaning in complaining afterwards, is there? The hotel is a pleasant place and we wouldn´t mind going back.

Absolutely perfect location in the centre of everything and by the water. Large, warm rooms beautifully decorated. Amazing prices for the location and standard. No criticisms to be made!

It was a bit disturbens from other room under our room, and it continued most of the night. If we are comming back to you hotel we would prefere a room not on the top floor, too many stairs. The staff was excellent, kind and helpful, thank you.

The Hotel des Arts is around the corner of a huge shopping mall and close to everything that you want to visit in Amsterdam. Specially when you rent a bike. We asked for a quiet room and got a very quiet one with nice furniture. The people who run the hotel are very friendly and very helpful -also the breakfast is ok. Of course Amsterdam is a very expensive city and the rate if the hotel is high. Nevertheless it´s a good value. If we come back to Amsterdam you would love to stay there again! Peter Harasim

Comodo, a due passi da piazza Dam e facilmente raggiungibile dalla stazione (anche a piedi). Personale simpatico, colazione abbondante (buffet) e servita in una sala accogliente. Il bagno in camera era nuovo e funzionale. L'igiene rientra nello standard dei paesi del nord. Attenzione! Non c'è l'ascensore quindi consigliamo le stanze in soffitta solo ai giovani! Purtroppo i prezzi x una stanza con il bagno sono davvero troppo alti in tutta Amsterdam.

We recommend this hotel who would like to spend some days in the heart of Amsterdam, very close to the Dam Place, 20 minutes walking distance from the railway station in a friendly, polite and familiar atmosphere.
