Excellent location in a quiet area in the city centre. Well communicated by tram and bus with the Centraal Station. I couldn´t find a cheaper quad room all over Amsterdam. The staff were quite friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was ok

A more detailed map of the location and/or a more accurate description of how to reach the place by public transport would be useful. In particular the tramstop nearest to the hotel.

I enjoyed the room. it was clean, neatly put together and confortable. i like the art work and the color scheme of the room. The public space - recption, dining and hall way could use some decorative attenttion. I will definitely go back and stay there and will recommand it this hotel to friends traveling on a budget.

In general is an ok Hotel, and we would probably return. However, Internet is announced as an offered service, but it is a payed service, which was frustrating. They also announce that they accept credit cards, but then they ask for a tax if you want to use it.

Hi, It felt like a hostel, not a hotel. For the price we paid in the US we would have had a room in Manhattan with excellent conditions not a spartiate room which wasn't very warm. The room was never cleaned in the 4 days we stayed there. The only plus : we had free high speed internet from an unprotected network nearby ( the hotel's internet was NOT free).

The hotel was not all that easy to find. we only found it by having a map that we'd bought at the station. The location map given to us at time of booking was useless. our double room was spacious and clean but it was very run down and in need of paint and new furniture. of all the hotels we statyed in on our trip around Europe this was the most expensive and of the lowest standarsd. We paid less for excellent hotels in Paris, Berlin and Prague. Also there was no secure left luggage to use on departure day. We had to leave our bags in the open dining room for the day. While our luggage wasnt interferred with, i wasn't happy leaving it in the open like that. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful...Breakfast was a buffet of bread, fruit, cereal ,cold meat etc...

L'hotel è situato in un'area tranquilla, ma da cui è semplice , anche a piedi, raggiungere il centro della città. IL personale è competente e cortese. Not the best quality for the price I paid. Hotel was hard to locate, given all the streets have the same name in Amsterdam. It was a pleasant stay although the room we got was quite small for 4 people. Location was peaceful and quiet away from the bustling night life of Amsterdam. The bathroom was so tiny that it was difficult to squeeze past the toilet to get into the shower.

We stayed at this hotel in May. We were very excited to get to Amsterdam but when we got there, the reception clerk was VERY RUDE. We felt unwelcomed and they made us feel uncomfortable. The price was fair compared to other hotels and the actual room was very clean and spacey but the walls are paperthin. The location is close to everything but its situated in an alley of a sort. Everything that is going on can be heard through the walls. I would not stay there again. In fact we originally were suppose to be there for four days and we cut our stay short and went to another friendlier hotel priced lower. We loved amsterdam and every other hotel that we ask about welcomed us with a great attitude and they were very willing to accomodate us. This hotel needless to say was very unfriendly. People! just keep walking and you'll find better accomodations with a hotel that is willing to go out of their way to show foreigners their way around.

We got a ridiculously small room, with sheets that smelled, the carpeting and the drapes were downright dirty. The rooms were noisy. The location is not as close to the main attractions as the web page will try to make you think, and good luck with finding the hotel, since it's really hard to track down. Our taxi driver from the airport took around 45 minutes to find it. Our room was 120 Euro, but it was hardly a 2 star room. Not worth it.

We had one night in Amsterdam as we were returning from Italy to the U.S. The carpet in our room was fairly worn and the room style was incongruous and didn't feel relaxing. That said, the beds were the most comfortable we'd slept in since leaving home 14 days earlier. The bathroom looked fairly new and was an ample size with good water pressure. The breakfast was standard European fare, ample and abundant. The staff wasn't as knowledgeable about directions, cost of transportation or tour options as we'd experienced in previous countries (France & Italy). My 15 yo son loved the Harley in the lobby. The location was good, about a 10-15 minute easy walk to city center. I can't say it was the greatest hotel, but wouldn't refuse to stay there again.

The rooms we discovered on the higher floors were definitely of a better quality to the lower floor. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. Using the tram line and getting organised to go on tours early is a must. The bus cannot pick up in this street so you have to go to the police station nearby. The staff were helpful. It is not difficult to walk to shops and supermarket from the hotel.

Location is near the city centre, so everything worth to see is easy to find. Unfortunately our room was very small and not as clean as we expected. Bathroom was extremely small and the door was not to close, and I do not mean lock, I mean close! Though it was clean, but no hairdryer there. Breaksfast was okay, different cheeses and jams, eggs, cereals and breads on a buffet. Hotel is not worth the money, but unfortunately it seems that there are a lot of accomodations in Amsterdam which are overpriced.

We stayed in a triple here for one night, a Friday. A one night stay is always difficult in a city like Amsterdam so we were very grateful. The hotel was in a great location central to the Leidseplein and Dam Square. The Leidseplein is the place to be late night. The hotel itself didn't have much character but was clean and sufficient. When you're in Amsterdam you probably won't see your hotel room anyway until after midnight. We stayed in a triple room. The bathroom was clean and the third bed, a temporary single was comfortable. Probably more so for the reason that my two buddies shared a cozy queen size bed. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive.

One of the worst hotels we have been in Europe. There was a strong odor of pest control substance in our room as well as in the public areas. We liked this hotel, which (once we managed to find it!) was in a great location, quiet and residential but only 5-10 mins walk from the old centre one way and the Museums the other. Only complaint would be how strict they were about times - we didn't get our room cleaned one day because we were still in the room at 11 inthe morning, and on the day we checked out, they were demanding we left the room 20 minutes before registered chechout time. friendly enough, but probably not the place to stay if you are planning to be out very late sampling Amsterdam's pleasures!

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful; however, the hotel does not deserve a 3 star rating. It may have been 3 star when it opened, but it isn't now. The breakfast is only adequate. The price was good because it was internet rates but I certainly wouldn't pay the full asking price for a room. Although the hotel room was clean it needed some general repair work- The shower was not attached properly to the wall and the main light did not work-simple things that could have made a big difference. The staff on departure hardly spoke two words to us. Hotel was in nice area and the general facilites were fine.
