Be careful because each day the price of the room can change! The rooms were very little, no possibility to put two suitcases, one very little cupboard, the beds are less than a meter wide. Heating was on and cuold not be switched off, even the personel didn't do it. Breakfastroom was stuffed completely with chairs and tables, so that it was nearly not possible to go to your table. Weekdays no fresh fruit. We slept good and quiet because we hab a room with gardenview.

They asked me 10€ more than the price shown on web. The cleanliness is not so high but accettable.

It is acheap hotel so it is not luxery, but we greatly enjoyed it. It is a good placen to go if you don't want to be around tons of night life. It is in a great walking distance from busy public area, but not in a sketchy location. We enjoed it a gerat deal.. WE were two girl travelers and felt very safe.

The bed was horrible ! We know the price is supposed to be cheap compared to other hotels in Amsterdam city center, but the bed could be correct, even for 100 €/night...

Overall stay was acceptable. Except for the old carpet and the old shower facilities.Acceptable for a standard room. However, as it is a low period it could have up graded us. We booked two rooms.Taxes was excluded in the rate qouted, we were unaware. The noises from other customers (not sound proof)was irritable.

Room was a bit overpriced due to it be very small and the location of the room. We were placed in a room in the underground level where it seems the housekeeping dept is located. There was no blow dryer in the bathroom. However, the room served our purpose of having a place to sleep for our one day stop over. The breakfast (included in price of room) was an added benefit. The fare was far from five star cuisine but served its purpose of stopping the grumble in one's belly. An assortment of teas, juice, breakfast breads, and hard boiled eggs. Super close to the Van Gogh Museum which has a tram stop in front of it-good source of transportation. Word of advice, call ahead to request room not located in the basement level.

Generally, I enjoyed my stay and I was very happy with the hotel and with the booking service provided by Venere. Thee are two minor adverse comments. The hotel was advertised as having a nice bar, which it did, but it was never open while we were there, and we reserved a double room but were given a twin due to availability problems at the hotel. These did not detract from the overall enjoyment, and I will use the service again.
