Hotel Casa 400 Amsterdam - Amsterdam

Very nice hotel. Very clean. Close enough to amsterdam centre via metro (5min walk away). Well serviced, helpful (english speaking) staff. We are a couple, but it is for anyone after clean, cheap accomodation in often pricey Amsterdam

Fantastic room, the location isn't bad once you find it, it's a couple minutes from Amsterdam Amstel Station, so take the train into the center. Also, breakfast is extremely overpriced- I ended up eating in the train station each morning for less than a third of the cost of one breakfast at the hotel. Still, the room itself was amazing- automatically defogging mirrors, very spacious room with desks and cabinets, a free-to-use electronic safe, and so on (and I was in the cheap single room, nothing special). Would definitely recommend.

Nice stay, near the metro, very clean and nice staff. Very confortable bed. Just one thing (important, by the way): is it impossible to open the window!

Had a Business stay in Casa 400. Correct hotel for this price. Big construction works next to the hotel what gives some noise in the morning. Noise in corridor and other rooms can be noticed. Room, bed were OK. Bathroom, water supply must be improved.

The hotel location is quite ok, 7 min walk from the underground station. We will stay once again when we come next time.

This very good hotel, the only downside is : relatively far from the city center (although you can take the metro), and it is too bad that the breakfast was not included in the room rate (15 Eur/day for breakfast is too much).

We had a great experience. Wish that there was a laundry service as indicated on the website. When I asked they said they only had dry cleaning service that was very expensive. Otherwise, the rooms were awesome, everything was brand new, free internet was provided.

Casa 400 is a very nice and clean hotel. Amstel station is close to the hotel from where you can easily get to the center of Amsterdam by public transport.

The only draw back was that there is no kettle in the room. One cant enjoy the luxury of sitting in the room and drinking a cup of coffee or tea.

The hotel was very good and not pricy at all. At sundays you can park for free in the surroundings. I think 17,50 euro is to expensive for parking space. We came by car and the hotel is easy to find, but it's far from the city centre. Overall we had a good stay and I can advise everyone this hotel.

Fantastic place, everything you would expect from a 4 star hotel with the price tag of a hostel. The most modern, cleanest and best hotel we have stayed in on our whole trip by far. The shower is the best bit! The only downside is that it is a little bit away from the town centre but it is a short bus ride or 10 minute bike ride away, Amsterdam is a small place remember, so everything is pretty close. Great stay!

The hotel was new and the room was spacious, clean and modern. There were excellent public areas. While it was close to a train station it was a bit difficult to find on foot initially as the directions were written for motorists. The area seems to be a developing one so it is not well served by shops and restaurants and more geared up for the budget end of the tour bus market. Most of the attractions were in the CBD area but the hotel is well served by buses and trains.

Although the rooms were small, they were efficient with quite a bit of storage space so that you could easily empty out your suitcase and store it so that it was not in your way. It would be nice if all rooms were equipped with a hair dryer. I think the only improvement is better directions leaving the Amstel Station. Although close to the hotel, if not for a previous review we would have struggled finding the hotel, which would not be fun when you are hauling your luggage.

It is a very hard hotel to find if you are taking transit. I think if they put in a description such as "walk out of amstel station and veer diagonally right through the plaza. you will see a set of stairs going down. take the stairs and walk under the underpass and you will see the hotel from there.

Very good hotel for the price. Wireless internet works perfectly, rooms are large and newfashioned. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is also a parking garage, even for bikes.

Really good design hotel with nice rooms. We had no problem with the elevators and the room wasn't cold as it was mentioned by the others. The bathroom was as big as we like. We had a little problem with the check-in, because the staff didn't find immediately our confirmation in the system, but after they realized that the venere was sent the confirmation for them and we had received our room.

The staff people are very kind, but this is general case in Amsterdam. Hotel is excellent, location for expoloring the city is very good. The only objection I have is that prices are too high, and that for these prices breakfast should definitely be included.

I booked two single rooms and got two twins for the price of my original booking! Great deal! Everything was perfect inside except for the breakfest coffee that was ******. I could not get rid of the taste of the first and, of course, single sip of that liquid. Attention, there are some road construction works around.

Taking into consideration that this is a new hotel the price was great the local for me even better will stay here if I need to.

The negative points are the price (a bit expensive) and the public service (reform) outside hotel, what difficults the access to the hotel, mainly when you carry baggages.
