Stayed for 2 nights in a twin room. The hotel was a lot better than I expected. The rooms were basic, but most importantly they were clean and secure. Staff were really helpful, clean towels provided every day and a 24 hour reception. The hotel is located in a busy square complete with bars and nightclubs - which has its pluses and negatives. But all in all a very reasonable budget hotel, ideal for a short stay.

Hotel Atlanta is in an excellent location and the staff was friendly when we arrived and wanted to get into our room before the usual 2pm time.Though they didn't seem professional. Our room was in the first floor where the reception was.The room and the carpet seemed very dirty, however what bothered us was not the fact that it was dirty but that there was an awful smell in the room. We opened the window all the time but it never went away, it was like it was the smell of the room. There was only 1 window in our room and it looked at the ventilation anyway and we could only see some pipes of other apartments.since we were staying for 2 nights we didn't bother to complain but it really was like a nightmare trying to sleep with that disgusting smell all the night. Our room was not noisy since it didn't look at the square. I'd rather have the noise than that disgusting smell! This hotel is overpriced for the quality it provides and I wouldn't stay there again despite its perfect location.

Location wise I love the hotel it is a great area, as long you are fine with very loud noise. Plus the staff are supper friendly. However they have massive problem no elevator so good luck if you are on high floor, get ready to carry your 20 kg and more suitcase all by yourself. I did the same and once came back had to make few expensive visit to physiotherapist. And bathroom & toilets are shared :( ( this was shocking for me )

It was our third time at Atlanta, the location is excellent, Rembrandtplein is a lively square, you will find within walking distance the best of Amsterdam or you can go anywhere just taking the tram. Unfortunately there is no lift. Considering the prices you can find in Amsterdam, Atlanta is reasonably priced.

Nice hotel and very central - but... impossible to sleep ! Rembrandt plein is active (bars and clubs) all night long, till 5 AM, and at 6, town cleaners work. If you "sleep" in the back rooms, you get the conditioned air turbines. If you pay per card, the hotel takes 3,8% and gives you the invoice - if you pay cash, you CAN have an invoice if you ask firlmy - we didn't get it. And we didn't know that the local tax was 5% for Amsterdam (we missed that on Venere web site). Besides, the night employee was really friendly, and the hotel very central for the price.

Just a missunderstanding about overbooking, but we fixed that with the receptionist. Wonderful position and a nice price to value offer. We did not take breakfast there.
