Hotel was nice. Good location. Near tram lines and late night buses. Excellent Dutch breakfast (lots of variety) Key system is odd. 3 people in one room. We had to keep getting our key cards re-coded. I would stay here again. Highly recommended for budget travellers.

The situation of the hotel is very good for who want to visit Amsterdam by foot, tram or bike. The only problems are the cleanliness an the quality of the room installations. The included breakfast is OK.

Stanze poste ai mezzi piani (mezzanini) dove l'ascensore non si ferma, ma si ricompensa essendo nel centro storico. Buona colazione e personale.

We had a double room and a quad room that had 4 twin beds. Both rooms were clean, and were spacious enough for a European hotel (the double room was more nicely laid out). Bathrooms were spacious and clean. The quad did have a bad smell to the toilet that seemed to be related to septic/sewer issues (it was on the 3rd floor). The hotel is next to a bar, so late night noise was present for the room overlooking the street. The double room was in the back of the hotel, and looked over a quiet back area, which was a plus. Location was great if you want to be in the central area.

It's an ok hotel, maybe a little too expensive for the service they offer. The biggest advantage is the distance-we did our tour of Amsterdam on foot and didn't have any problems with reaching the most interesting destinations. The staff was quite friendly but sometimes there was no one at the reception. Breakfast might have been a bit more varied and the cat's presence in the cafeteria was a disgrace. Our room was relatively small and you could hear noise coming from neighbouring and 1 floor up rooms. Since we arrived in a car, the hotel arranged for it to be taken to one of the big garages in the city so I didn't have to worry about parking in the streets. All in all we had an ok stay there but would choose a different hotel for the next trip.

I have stayed 2 times in this hotel before and if I visit Amsterdam a third time, certainly this will be the hotel that I will stay in. hotel is in a very decent district of Amsterdam_ near the keizersgracht street where all famous shop brands are lined.I was for a business trip in Amsterdam and I could reached easily whereever I wanted from this hotel. tram station almost 10meter to the hotel and there is a tram almost in every 2 minutes. tram 2 or 5, takes you to downtown in less than 5 minutes(you can walk if you want). rooms was very clean(most important thing for me in a hotel).because of my business, I am staying in so many hotels and this is the certainly one of from the most cleanest ones in Europe.a very safe hotel for a single business woman traveller.tv in rooms has many english channel. I could use my laptop in my room with free wireless.good, friendly people on front desk. good breakfast.thank you for everything.

The hotel is nice. The rooms are small, but nice. The breakfast is quite poor, but for the price you pay i wouldn't expect more. The location is excellent. I had only one problem with this hotel: WE HAD A MOUSE IN OUR ROOM!! It was trying to eat our biscuits, and making noises all night, so I couldn't sleep at all. When I told the receptionist he said: "really? was it the big one or the small one? did you leave food in the room? ah! so that's the reason!" So basically, the mouse was our fault! Our room was on the first floor, so maybe that was the reason. I don't think they have mice on upper rooms..

It was horrible. We had a mouse ore more than one living in the bed - in the matress. We woke up in the night cause the mouse wants to come out of the bed... And it was not only us who had this problem. Other guests also told us, that they had mouses in their room and the only solution the hotel offered was to let a cat into the room so that the mouses can be eaten. I think they don't know how to handle this problem. It would be ok for 20 euros per night but not for this prise. Also it was more than hard to get the money back for the second night. It was a long fight... so pleas if you want to stay relaxed in Amsterdam choose another hotel. good luck!

The only good thing was the location. Although I had asked for triple room with light, they wanted to give us a tiny room in the basement without light. We finally got a VERY small room with 2 beds and an extra mattress on the floor without changing the price. There was NO space to move The bathroom was also very, very small. Never cleaned the room during our stay of five nights. They charged 3% extra for paying with credit card. It is too expensive for what it is.

lovely hotel, really enjoyed our stay. rooms were quite small but we found it really cosy and lovely, don't need much space for a couple of days hol! very modern rooms, clean towels daily, out of main district but not too far to walk and plenty of great shops very close by (come out the door and turn left and left again and they're there). rooms were slightly noisy, but it wasn't bad, people were respectable at night. thoroughly enjoyed our trip!!

Good value little hotel in Amsterdam. Rooms were small, difficult to walk between beds and between end of bed and wall but nice, clean, appears fairly new. Bathroom is ridiculously small (as is lift!), you could actually brush your teeth while sitting on the toilet (if you wished). Apart from that though, I would recommend this hotel, we enjoyed our stay.
