Amsterdam is always good fun, but Hotel Wilhelmina made it an excellent trip for us as the rooms and staff were the best. Had enjoyed every bit of our stay there in Wilhelmina, will be back soon to enjoy more.

Great staff, beautiful rooms and very relaxing atmosphere. Best location for shopping in Amsterdam. Wonderful restaurant nearby. Only good things about the hotel.

For the average roomfee of 100 euro the beds were quite small and plastified. In 6 days no new sheets which doesn't make it more comfortable already sleeping on plastic cover (hygienic though, but yeah). Room was small with too much furniture. Rates went up for national holiday weekend, but service didn't. Hotel location near park and tramline so transport was ok, but next time we'll choose 1 of the many other hotels in Amsterdam.

Location was further from the centre than we thought but in a nice area. Tram transport is easy. Room fronted the street so there was afair amount of traffic and tram noise. Breakfast was great. Helpful staff stayed late after our flight was delayed.

We stayed at the appartement that belongs to the hotel. It was really nice and better located than the hotel. It was five minutes walk from the van gogh museum. the appartement had two floors, a good kitchen, big living room area - it was perfect!

The hotel represents a very good quality vs. price, tenants are very kind and the breakfast is good. The room was big enough for a couple with a very nice bathroom. I recommend this hotel for people wishing to spend less money in the accomodation and like to walk (a good 45min walk to the city center, 10min by tram). The stairs might be a problem for people travelling with heavy baggages.

Aadam Wilhelmina is a friendly, busy little hotel. I have been to Amsterdam many times over the past 35 years and I would not normally stay this far out of the centre, but it was Queen's Day and everywhere was booked or too expensive. As it was, we had a nice quiet space to get away from the crowds!

A room previous for just one person on the map on the wall of the room, but with a double bed... The shower was hidden between the tube and the toilets (just 50 cm...) Don't ask for the room n°5 if you are two! But the breakfast room and the breakfast very nice and good. However, a quiet place just near a tram stop, 10 mn from the touwn center

The hotel was perfectly situated near the Vondelpark and less than a stone throw away from the tram station, which goes directly to the central station and through the whole city center, not far from the real city center - to walk. The hotel was nice and pleasant, there were just few tiny issues...like the very steep staircase to the room, but it wasn´t that bad for us, as we are young couple, but it was really steep and quite scary staircase! The rest was perfect, breakfast normal, service excellent!

It's very easy to go to Amsterdam's center from the hotel. Either you walk through the park (even at night) or there is a tramway station near the hotel.

We had a very clean room, clear and quiet (with a balcony over a garden - room n° 8) but room and bathroom were of the spartan type and the pieces of furniture which did not match had known better days. Staircases are (as in many dutch houses)very, very steep. Breakfast was simple but good. Not very expensive but not cheerful.

My room was in a next buiiding, not in the principal . It has not lift, and you must up and down by about 30 little and dangerous stairs with the suitcases. The fitted carpet was old and probably dirty and the stair smells bad.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and bright. The hotel is situated on a main tram route which was very useful, the tram stop was less than 50mtrs away. Good basis for seeing the city.

The actual bill was higher than I expected (maybe I didn't do the math right). There was an additional 6% (?) fee to use a credit card which was not declared with the advertised price. I got an allergic reaction while there (did they have a cat and not declare that?). The owners were very nice and the breakfast was wonderful. The location was great: on a tram line and just a little out of the commercial mainstream. I'm not sure I'd stay there again because of the allergy event and it seemed too expensive for a 2 or 2.5 star type place.

The room was very tiny, but clean and everything what you need was there. One Problem was, that we had asked for a twin bed-room, but in the end it was a french bed with only one big cover - not so ideal as you are no copel. Breakfast was ok. Public transport by tram in the really centrum is good available, in the night you have to walk a long time or take a taxi. All in all it was a good price-quality-relationship.

I feel deceptioned with the hotel... poor, dirty, 51 small stairs to arrive to the room, relationship between price and quality really bad, the employee told me when I arrived that "it's the same if you like or not the room, you're going to pay anyway"... the bathroom was dirty and after showing, the floor had 5 cmts. of water all day... I don't recommend that hotel to noone... Never again. Really really bad

When we arrived we had to pay the entire stay. The surcharge for credit card payment was 6%, it is an high surcharge. I dont' like to pay all, before seeing the room. They offered us an "apartment" not a double room as we asked. The "apartment" was simply a bedroom with a kitchen inside. The floor was dirty. There was neither a window or a working aspiration in the bathroom, so wall was mold and scraped. After a long discussion they offered us (the day after) a normal bedroom as appear on the website. If we renounce to our booking we had to pay not only the minimum stay (3 night, not specified before) but the entire period we booked (4 nights) plus a surcharge decided by the director. In our opinion it is really unfair! The first receptionist we met was very unfriendly! fortunately during the following days there was another girl very kind.

The A'dam Wilhelmina is very well located.5 or 6 tramway stations from the Centraal Station. You may not notice, when you arrive, because there is so much beauty everywhere in this town, but the neighborhood is somehow "hipe",dutch celebrities at the bar's terraces,Art galleries and bio groceries, but still very quiet. From a french point of view the others people in the hotel were too silent, extremely normal.Maybe is it a latin perception, but be careful if you need a warm atmosphere!By contrast the staff had been perfect, kind and pro.
