The Agapi Beach hotel is an all-inclusive resort beautifully located on the beach of Amoudara, 6 km west of Heraklion city and just a short drive from the famous Palace of Knossos, where one can explore the wonders of the ancient Greek civilisation.
A great choice for a holiday, the family-friendly beach resort is popular for its casual, relaxed atmosphere and excellent facilities, and is internationally renowned for its warm, Cretan hospitality.
The central buildings - renovated in 2006 - are set within landscaped green gardens. Among the various on-site activities available, guests will have the choice between relaxing on the unspoilt sandy beach, by one of the three swimming pools or under the shade of a large palm tree.
The property is open from April 15th to October 30th.

Restaurant/DiningThe main restaurant serves comprehensive lunch and dinner buffets accompanied by a wide range of beverages, including soft drinks, local wine and beer. The buffet comprises a selection of hot and cold Mediterranean specialties: starters, main course dishes, fish specialties, fresh salads, local cheese, a variety of friut and many delicious desserts. Children's menus and special dietary meals are available with advance notice.
One day per week, for each week of stay, guests can enjoy tasty meals in the Greek taverna or at the Italian, open-air restaurant. Advance reservation is required. -

How to reach Agapi Beach Hotel
By airplaneThe Heraklion N. Kazantzakis international airport is serviced by daily flights from all major destinations. A bus and taxi service connects the airport to Amoudara beach and to the property.
On leaving the airport, take the first exit on the right towards Irakli city centre. Follow the local road in this direction for approximately 2 km. At the crossway with Kalokerinou national road, take Kalokerinou street heading towards the city of Heraklion for about 3 km. Once in Heraklion centre, drive on Kalokerinou street for about 2 km, until you reach Makariou national road. Take Makariou street for about 1.5 km. Then take Dikeossinis street for 200 metres, until you reach the local road leading to Amoudara beach. You will find the signs for the Agapi Beach hotel along the road. Follow the indications, the structure is located near the beach.
By boat
There are daily ferry and high-speed ferry services connecting the Athens port of Piraeus to the harbour of Heraklion, located about 7 km away from the hotel. A frequent bus services connects to Amoudara beach and to the property. Taxis are easily found at the end of the wharf.
