Good price for a good room, in a very beautiful (old way) hotel with an excellent service. Only one point : the toilets are a little... little. A very good appreciation because we loved this hotel. We don't know the other hotels, but if you choose this one, it's a good choice.

The hotel is centrally located to the Chateau, restaurants, the Loire, etc. It represents good value and I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to friends.

A lovely old building with lots of character. The room (Superior Double) was a bit small, and the bathroom very small, but both were functional considering the age and style of the building. Staff were efficient and pleasant. We stayed for four nights, and felt the hotel was a very good choice and value for money.

Pro: The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet area in the city center. Con: I had a superior room but the bathroom is very small. The shower is so tiny even a small person like me got tangled in the shower curtain. The fixtures were too large for the space I kept hitting the shower knob when I moved around. Althrough the bread is freshly baked, the rest of the breakfast is not very good.

I was travelling w/ my two teenage children. Le Blason seems perfect for families as they have rooms that can accomodate 3 and 4 people & the price is reasonable. The restaurant next door, L'Alliance, was excellent.

We were a bit surprised that our room didn't get serviced (cleaned and fresh towels) on the Sunday.Would have been nice to have a kettle with tea/coffee in the room.A bit sparse with just a TV. We stayed for 3 nights.Breakfast is in the hotel,dinner has to be booked with restaurant across courtyard.

The hotel offers 25 single, double and double superior, twin, triple and quadruple rooms, each featuring private bathroom with shower and separate toilets.All rooms are soundproof and equipped with direct dial telephone, Internet plug and colour TV. They have been renovated over the past 2 years, and rooms on the top floor are air conditioned.
Baby cots are available on request.

How to reach Le Blason Hotel
By carFrom the A10 motorway (Paris-Bordeaux), take exit n. 18 Amboise/Château-Renault, then drive towards Amboise (17 km). Once in the city centre, make a left towards Montrichard. You will find the hotel 300 metres away, on Richelieu square, on your left-hand side.
From Tours on the RN152 road, enter Amboise and turn right at the second traffic lights (in front of the post office), then make a left into Rue Rabelais. You will find the hotel 300 metres away, on Richelieu square, on your left-hand side.
From Blois on the RN152 road, drive past the castle, turn left right after the Tourist Office building (building on your right), you will be in Rue Voltaire. You will find the hotel 300 metres away, on Richelieu square, on your left-hand side.
By train
