Hotel Santa Caterina - Amalfi

The hotel grounds were amazingly beautiful. The service was great. Prices of food/drinks at the pool and restaurants were overpriced but quality was very high. We had a noisy neighbor the first night we stayed. The walls were thin, the neighbor was drunk. We called the front desk who quickly went and asked the guest to quiet down. The following day they showed us 2 other rooms we could move to if interested. Our room view, size and quality was so nice that we decided to stay and our next two nights, the neighboring guest was quiet. Overall, we loved the pool, grounds and breakfast. It was a great visit.

We had a perfect stay to mark our wedding anniversary. A very special hotel which is very hard to fault in any way.

Il Santa Caterina è una struttura di eccellenza, gli ambienti curati e la posizione a picco sul mare fanno godere a pieno le bellezze delle costiera amalfitana. Dalle camere attraverso lo splendido giardino o l'ascensore si scende sulla caletta dell'hotel che è anche ben collegato con il centro di Amalfi (basta qualche minuto a piedi),comunque l'hotel mette a disposizione anche una navetta. Le Camere ampie e luminose sono fornite di tutto ed il servizio in camera è preciso e puntuale. La colazione, come anche la cena, viene servita su di una splendida terrazza che affaccia sul golfo con un ottima scelta. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile e rende questo luogo ancora piu speciale.

Service standards were just right. Attentive without being annoying.It would have been good if the shuttle to the town had run until 10.30 pm as the taxi fare of 10 euros for a few hundred meters is very expensive and the road is too dangerous to walk in the dark.
