Hotel Doria - Amalfi

Amalfi, wow! great place to visit but we are so glad that we booked at the Doria to escape the crowds, the noise, the traffic. This is a great hotel with great staff and a marvelous location outside of town. The views just don't end. There's onsite parking and a free shuttle bus provided by the hotel to take you to town and pick you back up when your done exploring, eating, or shopping. The staff was great and as we were there in late September, their restaurant was closed but they directed us to a little restaurant just up the road, and I do mean up, where we enjoyed a wonderful lunch with million dollar views. We would definately recommend the Doria. It's worth the drive.ciao

This hotel has a beautiful view from some of their rooms. Unfortunately, it is on the main road leading into Amalfi. The noise from cars, buses, and motorcycles was horrible. Even with the windows closed it was just loud!The food however was truly delicious and beautifully served. Too bad about the noise.

Mostly friendly staff, comfortable beds, bathroom was a little run down and all over ants in the morning. Too far away from Amalfi, what does not come clear on the booking plattform, for this price of 150,- €.

We loved it here and would stay here again in a heart beat! The staff was so helpful and friendly, the hotel restaurant had awesome food, and with the shuttle going to and from town for free it was convenient and nice to be away from the hussel bussle. The views, room and staff were even better than I expected.

As it was the end of the season the restaurant was closed which meant we had to drive to Amalfi or Furore to find a place for dinner - not so bad, but would have been nice to have a meal with the stunning view from Hotel and not worry about "drinking & driving". The hotel was really great - we luckily had a room upgrade to give us sea views which was super - lovely and quiet, very nice staff, and of course delicious breakfast. One of the most comfortable beds we've had in hotels! Dinner at the open air restaurant- Locanda Costa Diva was good and the Donna Stella pizzeria in Amalfi was good too.

This establishment is a Pearl on the Amalfi Coast ,this is truly Italian hospitality ,the service is very friendly and above standard ,the location is incredible ,rooms are very clean and spacious .The breakfast was also wonderful , there is a free shuttle service to pick you up or drop you off downtown .Don't hesitate to have diner at the Hotel ,the food and service was Great!Would I go back.Yeeees!

Hôtel Doria is sited in a beautiful landscape. The terrace is exceptionnel for dinner and the free taxi service very convenient! The service is good and I appreciated the family welcome. I can recommend the hotel to everyone who enjoys nice landscapes and good meals.

Outstanding hotel (the best of all we stayed at throughout Italy). Magnificent views. A staff dedicated to a pleasureable stay.

This was our first time at Hotel Doria. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and pampered. The free shuttle to and from Amalfi was greatly appreciated, a wonderful surprise perk. Each morning breakfast was nicely presented and we loved the warm chocolate brioche. Our prix fix dinner was delicious from appetizer to limoncello and reasonably priced. The view from our balcony was spectacular. Louisa and Salvatore made our stay memorable. We would highly reccomend the Doria.
