Get a map before you arrive! Make sure you don't end up driving in the tiny city centre streets looking for the hotel.

A pleasant modern hotel with very good rooms but a very long way from the railway station (implied it is close) and the centre of the city and difficult to find unless you are driving and follow the street signs which are pretty good in Almeria. For those that need it internet very expensive. Reasonable restaurant but we were the only ones eating there!
