Hotel Garni La Maison - Masarè, Alleghe

The room was kept rather cold because the heating was not turned on till late at night; and then in the night it became intolerably hot. It would have been better to turn the heating on earlier in the evening and then turn it down at night when one is comfortably ensconced in bed. Also, considering the price paid for the room it would have been expected that fruit would have been included in the breakfast. Otherwise the hotel was excellent.

Excellent and friendly service. Spacious room. Good base for en route stop. Needed some recommendation about restaurants in area though and transport essential.

We loved Hotel-Garni La Maison.As a family of four(2 adults and 2 teenagers-16yrs & 14yrs) the family room was cetainly big enough.The teenagers thought it was the best hotel room we had stayed in Europe - they loved it!The view from the balcony,a mountain peak directly behind us was nothing short of awesome.The room was delightfully alpine, very clean, warm & comfortable. The breakfast room was large and inviting and very homely.Buffet breakfast was very ample with many choices (great coffee!) and the service friendly,prompt and accommodating.The family who run Hotel-Garni La Maison were extremely generous and attentive to all our needs,in fact drove us to the restaurant on our last night when the Pizzeria next door was closed, and drove us all to the bus stop on our departure date.They displayed their concern when we were a little late arriving back from skiing and were very helpful regarding timetables and information on places to ski.We were embarrassed as to our lack of spoken Italian,as English was extremely well spoken by Signora.They were a very hospitable and kind family. We would recommend anyone to stay there!!

I usually don't waste my time writting reviews, but this hotel deserve the best review ever. The couple who runs the hotel are lovely, it makes you feel like you home and they are family! I extremelly recomend this place to everyone!! Lovely rooms, lovely breakfast, lovely service, lovely location for a LOVELY HOLIDAY. What else do you need??

This is a really nice place, yet it is about a 15min walk fom Alleghe where everything starts... Breakfast is great (normally in Italy you only get coffee and a croissant) there is a selection of cheese and cold-cuts, Müsli, Joghurt, etc. The owners are really nice and helpful. There is plenty parking space available. Unfortunately it is situated near a very busy road, which you can hear if you want have a window open...
