La City Hotel - Alicante

Excellent hotel in good location very clean and modern and large rooms with bath and shower. Good buffet breakfast would stay again.

Good quality small hotel.Good location for onward travel, near station and car hire. Restaurants and bars close by. Staff helpful and good english spoken.

I was passing through Alicante and so stayed at this hotel for only one night. I got my dates mixed up and arrived one month early! Still, they gave me a room right away. This is a modern hotel and what struck me about it was that it sparkled...it was so clean. The next thing I noticed was that it was close to all the sights - easy walking. There was also a free computer with internet access. I wish I had more time to visit this city and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

La Cite was ideal in many respects and was so convenient to the main railway station. However, reception was impersonal and limited rather than friendly and informative. The main drawback for us- and this is true of most large hotels that allowed smoking - the old smells linger in the furnishings long after any introduction of non smoking rooms. Breakfast appeared plentiful though the range of the self service fare was limited and favoured meat eaters rather than acknowledging vegetarian or vegan diets. Other 'diners' appeared to be from the commercial sector.

Massive room, very convenient for railway station. Only 5 minutes from Luceros Square and bus stop for airport service. About 15 minutes walk from Cathedral, Old Town and seafront. Would suit both business and leisure travellers on a budget.

Cebtrally located right opposide of the railway station and near the shopping streets, around 15 minutes walk to the historic center. Good hotel, would come back.

Modern and clean hotel across the street from the train station and 5 min walk to the old town. Breakfast not included. Great value!

Hotel propre et modernisé recemment. Situé en face de la gare de la Renfe, adéquat pour voyageur prenant le train tôt le matin. Centre ville à 20 minutes de marche.

Just in front of the train station and close to the harbour by foot, you need to walk a little bit more to get to the beach. The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. Good choice if you dont want to walk with your luggage or to take a taxi ;)

We were three french people looking for 4 days of sangria and tapas ;) ; and seriously we would come back at the first chance. Above all, very good rate price/quality, for sure.
