One always feels welcome! The breakfast is superb, one does not want to get up from the table as not only the food, but also the view and surroundings are great! Everybody is friendly and all needs are taken care of quickly! Would not hesitate to recommend it to everybody!

Great location, right on the beach.Spacious,well maintained room with AC; (pillow "menu"- asked for feather pillows and got them!); small balcony but no sun. Public areas very nice. Buffet breakfast excellent- unlimited freshly squeezed orange juice at no extra charge!Bar very expensive -Brandy and Smirnoff & Soda cost €16 (€9 for same in Alicante, €6 in Guadelest). Small bottle of water at pool cost €3.50! 15 minute walk to Avda. Niza where there is a good selection of restaurants. 5 minutes walk to public bus stop for Alicante €1.30 - taxi will cost €10.50 in the evening. Hotel has a courtesy bus to Alicante which has to be booked in advance. This hotel has a great beach-side location. It is in a quiet residential area and the nearest supermarket/ shopping centre is a 15 minute walk away. Clientele is mainly middle-aged Spanish couples.

The hotel deserves an overall top rating. Upon arrival, it gave an excellent first immpression regarding outer spaces, reception, room. Very friendly and competent, helpful staff on all levels, no wish was left unattended. Absolutely quiet location, marvellous pool and garden areas. Outstanding were especially the beauty parlour staff and the mini-bus shuttle service to the city. Breakfast buffet left nothing to wish, every palate was satisfied, absolute international level. Last, not least the quick and short access to the wonderful beach, and the sea view from all corners of the hotel. Very highly recommendable!

My wife had an accident because the hotel shower in the hydromassage pool had no floor mat. We came home after two days. The management never became interested in her accident. A senior manager should have asked about her condition. The reception were friendly and we only paid for the two days. A five star hotel should be better than this. It is an excellent hotel but our holiday was ruined on our first day, and my wife will suffer for weeks. We could have taken an action against the hotel, but we do not do that. the hotel is splendid ,but there are not many places to eat or shop nearby ,although the hotel does have a bus service ,but it terminates at 10.30...there is no buffet evening meal available...just a la carte restaurant

This is a first rate hotel in a splendid location. One of the best buffet breakfasts around. We thought that the evening meal was a bit too expensive though and we looked elsewhere after the first night. Almost certainly we shall return to this hotel, probably off season again as this is very good value for money. However, a couple of comments. We were initially given a room with a double bed (kingsize) that was too hard to get a good night's sleep...apparently many or most of their kingsize beds are of the same specification. We changed rooms after the first night to a twin bedded room. Those beds were fine. The door to the indoor swimming pool needs a really hard push or tug to open it due to a vacuum effect. While my wife was pulling the door from poolside it suddenly opened on to her foot and resulted in a ripped off toenail...a very painful and distressing injury. The notice by the pool door requires removal of shoes while in the pool area. The hotel staff were subsequently very attentive and did all they could but we think this remains an "accident waiting to happen". Finally perhaps a little more detail on finding the hotel within the San Juan local area.
