Great hotel close to the beach, with nice and beautiful rooms. Good service and very friendly staff. The hotel also has a very good restaurant with great food and a beautiful terrace. We can highly recommend it!

Excellent place to stay, backing onto a quiet cul-de-sac that leads straight to the beach (2-3 mins walk). The rooms are lovely, all recently refurbished and the place is full of character. The open courtyard looks great at night with the tables outside for the evening meals - we had already booked another restaurant but the food looked excellent and was much cheaper than other restaurants in the area. Would DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone looking for a nice hotel in Alghero for a few nights. It's about 20 minutes walk along the beach road into town but the bus stop is only a couple of minutes away, both for town and the airport (60 cents). Only downside is no lift but I'm sure if you asked they would take your bags up for you.

Lovely hotel with an interesting past that has just recently opened. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. Most of them speak excellent English, although the night staff is sometimes limited to Italian. They were full of good advice on places to eat,transportation and shopping. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. We had a triple which was brilliant in that instead of the usual three beds jammed into one room, the third bed was situated in a connecting alcove. Much appreciated. The surroundings are pleasant and the grounds are continuing to be brought into shape. Breakfast was nice by Italian standards but like many hotels, could of been better by varying the items on offer. My biggest complaint is that that there was no specific location map for the property and most taxi drivers aren't aware that the property is now a hotel. They need a detailed map on how to get from the airport and the city center to the hotel. The location itself is fine, about a five minute drive into the historical center, or about a leisurely 10 minute walk down to the beaches and public transportation. They'll even unlock the back gate to make your journey a bit quicker. All in all, a very pleasant experience.
