Hotel Angedras - Alghero

We appreciated the breakfast terrace. Very kind and service minded staff.

Really nice place, a warm welcoming from a wonderful staff. Less than 5 min walking to the center. A delicious breakfast. Private parking and a good free Internet connection.

Was visiting Alghero with a friend, stayed in a twin room.The staff especially on reception were very friendly and helpful,they spoke excellent English.The hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the Tourist information office and the bus station.It was off season when we were there but the rooms could be noisy if the hotel was full.

I was staying there for the 4 days. Lovely hotell, clean, quiet and polite staff. About 1 km from center of the town. Too much sweets and cakes for breakfast, and some kind of "boring food", we are not use to it. But generally, very nice hotell. Recommendet!

Hotel Angedras has pleased us with its very professional staff. The rooms were great and absolutely clean. The hotel has a convenient distance to the downtown.

Overall we really liked the Hotel Angedras, rooms lovely, breakfast lovely, lovely modern hotel with nice staff especialy the english receptionist who mixed us up some loveley Peach Coladas (5 euros) at the tiny hotel bar. We were disappointed however with the way the hotel was so far away from the beach/town. We don't mind walking but this was just too far out. It took us about 20 mins to reach the sea plus we also kept getting lost so the journey always seemed like a pain. The hotel restaurant is located completely seperately on the waterfront and you do get a discount as hotel residents but it was expensive - we felt hard done by when we asked for a half bottle of house red and it cost 16.50 euros. Also the hotel said they had a private beach, which made us think that the hotel was near the sea. However, like the restaurant, the "private beach" was a 20 minute walk away and they had not booked it when we arrived so in fact there was no private beach. So all in all, great modern clean hotel, in a quiet residential area (one restaurant and one supermarket 5 mins away) but too far away from the town and the beach for me to chose staying there again

Staff were excellent and extremely friendly and helpful.Rooms were a little noisy but not excessively. Tea and coffee facilities in room would have been welcome but overall this is an excellent clean, comfortable hotel which was great value for money

My stay at the hotel Angedras was very enjoyable. The staff were polite and helpful at every opportunity. I would recommend it to friends. My only complaint was a crying child in the room next to mine. Whilst I acknowledge this was not the hotel's fault, the rooms did not stop sound transference in any way. Banging doors, running showers and chairs being moved across the floor in the rooms above were quite loud. I asked about a room change but this was not possible.

The other reviews comment on the friendly staff, and they were certainly the most pleasant, friendly and welcoming I have ever met. The hotel *is* a good walk out of the old town. But then, the walk along the coast is fabulous! (And after all the delicious pizzas and pasta and ice cream, well needed!) The hotel is in a very quiet area, although the soundproofing between the rooms isn't so good and if you have noisy neighbours it can be annoying - although I'm sure reception would sort out any problems - they are so very helpful. Otherwise, absolutely nothing to fault this lovely, clean, friendly hotel. We would certainly hope to return there. (Soon!)

We were under the assumption that this hotel was very near or beside the beach because of stating about parasols and sun beds.I was surprised to find the hotel in the middle of nowhere.On a better note the staff were all very frendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean and smart.(by the way the restaurant for the hotel was about a twenty minute walk away)
