We found the rooms quite expensive and were worst than others hotels in which we have stayed in. The beach in front the hotel it's really dirty and it smells very bad because fecal waters from the sewers ends in the sea, near from the hotel door.

Hotel was average and not value for money. Booking stated cost payable on departure, hotel wanted me to pay in advance. Staff were friendly and helpful, and offer of "Comfort Room" after check out was much appreciated.

The hotel asks for my document but forgot to return me when I leave. I think the hotel must to return the document without the customer asks, the customer can forget, the hotel not if it is serious When I leave the employees joke and chat ans do not give me the document I have not document and I am very discontented

The hotel was lovely and the room but the bed were not good. They were to single put together and very sore on the back. both of us had back pains from it. But apart from that the staff and hotel overall was excellent.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I requested a non smoking room. The room I was given smelled like an ash tray! I informed the desk and was told they had no other rooms. They spayed the room with air freshener but it did little good. The noise in the hotel was also bothersome. Our upstairs neighbor returned late in the evening and we could hear everything. I tried to call the front desk but there were no dialling instructions for the phone so I had to get dressed and go down and complain. The breakfast was good and the area was great.

Excellent Hotel for short break visiting Alghero. For longer stay you might want a few more facilities such as Pool.

We had a great break in Alghero the Hotel is in a very good location just across the road from the beach, the flight was a late one and the staff were great at telling us where we could eat the Ramblas just down the road we would reccomend,as we would reccomend the Hotel and Town of Alghero, also catch train to Sassari at 3.50 Euro return a good day out.

I have traveled in Italy before, found Alma di Alghero to be much better than the typical Italian albergo. The rooms are more "Westernized," which many will find to their advantage. We had plenty of room, and the room and bathroom were very clean. When we arrived, even though our reservation said four people, there were only three beds in the room; this was quickly corrected, and instead of a cot, the staff moved a regular bed from another room, which was great. The walk along the bay to get to the old town was beautiful; we wished it had been warm enough to get in the water, although there was quite a bit of trash on the beach. Since it wasn't high season yet (we were there at the beginning of March) we assume the beaches are cleaned up as more tourists visit. The staff was very friendly and helped us find the boat to visit the Neptune Grottos. The breakfast was the best part, with a huge array of meat, cheese, hardboiled eggs, breads, pastries, yogurt and cereal to choose from.

Stayed here in Dec 2006 in a party of 7. The hotel location is good if you dont mind a short walk into the city centre (taxis are not easy to come by in Alghero so sometimes that is the only option). The hotel is well located for the beach, and the staff are extremely attentive and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and the bar well stocked and cheap for a hotel bar. The rooms are very spacious, with satellite TV and balconies. My only negative is that as the hotel hallways contain a lot of marble and bare walls, the sound travels, so the hotel can be quite noisy when people are making their way to their rooms, but this only lasts for a few minutes. Overall i would say this hotel is great for a long weekend break.

A nice little hotel, one of only 3 we could find. Its a decent 15 min walk into the town, but about a 30 second walk to a white sand beach. Restaraunts near by, and a short 5 minute taxi ride from the Airport. The town is class, even though its on a budget airway destination there were almost no tourists there, it is not a tourist resort as everything is local, not geared to tourism, stayed for a weekend, but will be back for a week, and will use the same hotel, staff helpful and polite and speak good English.

The Hotel Alma di Alghero is an excellent hotel which offered excellent value for money. Conveniently located close to an excellent beach and within handy walking distance from the town (about 20 minutes walk without rushing). The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was quiet and clean with a balcony view over the sea. I would definately use this hotel again.

I and my 3 kids stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Everything was perfect for our purposes: spacious room with tv, mini-bar, a balcony where we could put our wet stuff and snorkelling equip., breakfast: rich and healthy, service: kind and helpful,no problems with mass of sand we used to "bring in" location: beach across the road with yes, quite busy traffic but as Italian drivers stop for pedestrians no problem. In this price class excellent.

Quite expensive (parking costed 15€ in an open area within the building without gates) but opposite to the sea and 15 min. walking from the center. Staff very gentle and helpful for booking restaurants and support (maps, suggestions, etc)

Excellent hotel. Was part of a group of British tourists visiting the area (282 Tours). Hotel is very clean, and staff are very helpful. The view from the rooms were not very nice, but we were hardly in the room. The beach opposite was beautiful! Crystal clear water and white sand (think its man made). It was nice to have a dip after a hot days walking. Was our first time to Alghero, and indeed Sardinia. Would 100% consider going back and staying at this hotel! One thing we would like to see however, is a little more night life, but it was a nice break.

we found the staff great, the breakfast was very good and the hotel was a ten minute walk from town. On the down side the soundproofing in the rooms could be better and the hotel faces side on to the sea with buildings on both sides so not good for views, also parking on site is not free, although there was free parking on the road, but maybe not easy to find in summer.

EL HOTEL ESTÁ BIEN EN GENERAL. EL DESAYUNO BASTANTE BUENO, PERO EL PRECIO QUE PAGAMOS POR LA HABITACION ( 110,00 € POR NOCHE ) NO SE CORRESPONDE CON LA CALIDAD NI DE LA HABITACIÓN NI DEL HOTEL. EL PARKING QUE SE ANUNCIA GRATUITO, ES DE PAGO.

Very new hotel with good facilities and perfectly adequate buffet breakfast. Some neighbouring construction but no problems caused to us. Sound insulation is relatively poor, as concrete walls & tiled floors transmit a rather large amount of footsteps and to a lesser extent voices. Rooms have balconies from which you can see the sea. Information on local transport and facilities needs improving, but overall a pleasant place to stay at an economical price.
