Hotel Marengo - Spinetta Marengo, Alessandria

For the price per night Marengo Hotel is excellent, the staff are exceptionaly friendly and efficent there is ample car parking on site a beautiful restaurant and out door area. The free wi-fi connection is excellent too. The room we stayed in was generous in size and was very clean. We had a car so going into Alessandria was no problem but there is also a bus stop near the hotel so public transport wouldn't be a problem either, about 6 Km from the hotel. Overall I higly recomend this hotel as we had a very good and relaxing time here.

A small room with ugly decoration, a very tiny bathroom,I'm wondering how they got 4 stars. However, the breakfast is correct and for the price if you have do make a stop in this area ...why not

I think that the hotel is good et very confortable. The breakfast is diversify and delicious. The staff is professionnel.

Hôtel bruyant en raison de son positionnement au carrefour de deux routes fréquentées. Petit déjeuner pas au niveau de la catégorie. Valable seulement pour une étape.

Rooms were clean but a bit small. Airco in the room didn't work sufficiently: it wasn't possible to put the switch in the lowest position because it was programmed for not getting lower than the middle position; this resulted in too hot rooms with temp. not getting lower than 24,5 Celsius. Our dining experience exceeded the overall impression we had of the hotel: dining room had a much better working airco, presentation and quality of the food were very good, and service by the friendly staff was good despite the poor knowledge of another language like english or french.

As a businessman and owner of several hotels in Egypt, I was very impressed with your hotel, especially its spacious parking space and beautiful garden. I would prefer that you would add porter service, especially useful for people too old to carry their luggage.
