Hotel Da Galé - Albufeira

The balcony on last floor is really great to spend some time reading or just relax with a fantastic view over the sea. The bartender is very gentle. The location of the hotel is very quiet and safe.

This hotel has an amazing view over the sea and the city from the terrace. The room where I stayed was very cozy and clean. The staff was very helpful.

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. It ruined our holiday, It was shabby, the Manager is very rude and he bullies his staff. The breakfast was horrible, machine coffee and awful juice which is not fresh orange. Not continental. Unfriendly, hostile, dirty, grubby. Absolutely terrible. I feel I need a holiday now.

Had i top stay, infact i extended my stay by another 4 days, it is a basic hotel but if you are out most of the day why pay for extras you are not going to use ?. Good location although there is a bit of a walk into the old town, only 10 mins or so but its all up hill on your way back. ALL Staff were fantastic & very helpful. Would definately stay there again, think i'm already planning another stay in august. The views from the rooms are fantastic, over all of the old town & fishermans bay + the sunrise in the morning........what more could you require ?

Second time in Albufeira

Your hotel was not ready to be open to the public. It was still being painted and stank of paint throughout my stay. There was no water in the swimming pool, the bar wasn't yet stocked and open, no breakfast was available. When I complained, I was offered a free voucher for my next stay. But I wouldn't dream of returning.

SE PODRÍA DEFINIR ASÍ:"HOTEL DA GALÉ, UNA MIERDA ES". POR DÓNDE PODRÍA EMPEZAR...PRIMERO SI HAS RESERVADO HABITACIÓN CON VISTAS AL MAR O INTERIOR DA IGUAL, TE DAN LA QUE ELLOS QUIEREN. LAS DE INTERIOR COMO LAS NUESTRAS SON UN ZULO. HUELEN A HUMEDAD INCREIBLEMENTE Y LA VENTANA QUE TENIA DABA A UN PATIO INTERIOR, QUE SI HABRIAS LA VENTANA SE TE METIAN LAS PLANTAS Y TE VEIA LA GENTE DE OTRAS HABITACIONES. NO TIENE AIRE ACONDICIONADO. Y LO "MEJOR" ES EL CUARTO DE BAÑO. CUALQUIER COSA INSALUBRE, SUCIA, MOHOSA, CUTRE, QUE TE PUEDAS IMAGINAR SE QUEDA CORTO (ADJUNTO FOTOS).POR CIERTO LAS TOALLAS LAS CAMBIAN CADA 3 DIAS Y TENIENDO EN CUENTA LA NULA VENTILACIÓN DE LA HABITACIÓN Y EL OLOR A HUMEDAD.... EL DESAYUNO BUFFET INCLUIDO LLEVA SOTA, CABALLO Y REY (PAN SIN TOSTAR, NO HAY TOSTADORA, MANTEQUILLA, MERMELADA, CAFES DE MAQUINA CON AGUA SUCIA Y "ZUMOS" DE MAQUINA TIPO TANG, PERO CON EL DOBLE DE AGUA Y CON SABOR A REDOXON. UNA PAREJA QUE VINO CON NOSOTROS SE ENCONTRARON QUE HABÍA GOTERAS EN SU HABITACIÓN, PERO NO ERAN GOTERAS, ERA UN CAÑO DE AGUA, Y TUVIERON QUE PERDER UN DÍA ENTERO ESPERANDO A QUE ARREGLARAN LA AVERÍA, PORQUE NO LES DABAN OTRA HABITACIÓN,O SEA, UN DÍA DE VACACIONES PERDIDO. LA PISCINA, NO TIENE SOCORRISTA, PERO LO QUE SÍ TIENE ES UNA DUDOSA CAPA DE ACEITITO POR ENCIMA, Y UNAS MADEJAS DE PELOS BUCEANDO EN EL FONDO. LO MEJOR: LAS VISTAS DESDE LA TERRAZA. YO DESDE LUEGO NO VOLVERÍA A IR. PREFIERO MIL VECES DEJARME LA ESPALDA EN UN CAMPING Y ENCIMA NO TENER QUE PAGAR 75 € POR NOCHE. QUÉ PASADA! ADEMÁS SI PIDES HOJAS DE RECLAMACIONES COMO HICIERON NUESTROS AMIGOS POR LO DE LAS GOTERAS TE DICEN QUE NO TIENEN SIN MÁS.

The relatioship between price anda quality is poor, the rooms are little, the services and facilities are very poor. Its a horrible hotel. HORRIBLE.

Da Gale was shut when we arrived-roof was leaking. Took us to sister property in town. All pretty basic.Free parking. Elevator. Handy location.Breakfast basic but adequate. Just about impossible to find Da Gale from maps. The property was cheap, but they took the cost off our credit card when we booked-not good. Price represents what you get.
