If you enjoy helpful staff and sunny beaches, Hotel Alisios is for you. Throughout my entire stay I was impressed by how nice and helpful the people at Hotel Alisios were. Highlight: One day I suffered from a bad stomach - the receptionist offered me a tea, a light soup (not on the menu!) and had it delivered to my room without charging additional room service. Most staff members are fluent in English and German. The location is nice, too. You can spend the morning lying on the deck (spectacular view of the sea) and then take the stairs down and spend the afternoon on the fantastic beach. For me, that made up for the absence of an outside swimming pool. Enjoy your stay!

By airplaneFrom Faro airport, take the EN125 road and follow signs for Portimão/Lagos. Take the A22 motorway (via do Infante), then exit at 'Albufeira'. Turn right at the first roundabout and then left at the third one. At the second traffic lights, turn right, and then left, after the 'Auditório Municipal', straight ahead and turn left at the next roundabout. You will find the Alísios Hotel, 800 meters ahead, on the right hand side.

At the bus station, take the Giro/City Bus - Blue line and get off after 11 stops at 'Inatel' stop.
