About Hotel Donatello

The hotel is composed of 20 rooms, restaurant, bar, pub, play area, private parking area and lift.

We holiday in Italy every year, based in Lazio, but have made overnight stops in the North (Lakes)and Tuscany (San Gimignano), but this was the first visit to the South and thus Puglia. This trip was specifically to see the Trulli. The area is really beautiful and unique. The hotel was well located, with Trulli near by, and only about 5/10 minutes from Alberrobello, where there's a large concentration. Wonderful. As for the hotel, you don't expect much from an overnight stay, but the hotel was superb. The picture on the web-site doesn't really do it justice, it and the room was a very high standard. We had a really lovely evening meal in the hotel restaurant, as endorsed by the large numbers dining by the end of the night. A really great stay.

Functional hotel - rooms were OK, restaurant was very good, not the most beautiful hotel but really convenient for Alberobello (10 minutes in car) and superb value. Not a lot else in the small town where located but there is free parking and the owners are fantastic people. Would happily stay there again.
