Hotel Airone - Alberobello

We were happy to have chosen this hotel. Excellent value for money, when you think that Alberobello is a unique locationin the whole world. We were lucky, as our visit coincided with the celebrations of their patron saints/

Confortable, familiar, very clean, kind staff. Pretty good ubication. Garage. Families, young and mature couples.

Everything was OK except the breakfast which was very bad!

Stayed at Airone on a trip with two friends. We were in a triple. It was a large room with one double bed, one single bed, and a decent sized bathroom. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the Trulli section of town. Breakfast was simple with packaged pastries and toast, cappuccino was good. The owners were friendly and willing to assist with maps and information. Only complaint would be the noise - tile floors and thin walls (seems pretty consistent in Italy). I always take earplugs for sleeping. For the price (incl. free breakfast AND parking), I would highly recommend this hotel!

Very,very clean and nice room. Hotel is near trulli area and railway station. Good choice in Alberobello.

L'albergo si presenta come da aspettative. Unico inconveniente: in estate abbiamo trovato molte zanzare. The hotel was really OK; clean and big rooms. The only negative side: in summer, we found lot of mosquitoes.

This was our first time at Alberobello. We spent only one night at the hotel, so we don't consider ourselves perfect estimators. The hotel was not too far from the trullis, and people there looked pleased with the service. There could habe been more leaflets and maps about the area at the hotel. As a whole, we were pleased with the service.

Airone is a new hotel, located at a very conveniant distance from the railway station and the bus stop. At the same time the dimension of the town permits a good access to the tourist area. The breakfast room is pleasant and the rooms are fairly big.

Situated at a quite reasonable distance from the trulli quarters. The staaf was very helpful with map and good advice for dinner on town. The breakfast was very simple with plastic enveloped cakes etc (but ok related to the total price)

The main thing was that the hotel was very clean. The staff were polite but seemed hard to get information from them, not very talkative. Breakfast was bad.

The hotel is located on the edge of a quiet residential area, within easy walking distance of the town centre, trulli, etc. Plenty of free parking space available in the adjacent streets. The rooms were comfortable & spacious. Reception was friendly & very helpful as regards indicating excellent restaurants.

Nice hotel, short walk to town

Easily found, just a short walk from the stazione. Staff speaks only Italian, but while I was touring by means of a map they gave me the woman spent extra time phoning to find out about my connection for leaving the next day. (Don't plan on leaving Alberobello on Sundays -- there's only one train out and it turned out to be a bus. Getting in on Saturday is pretty tricky too.) The hotel doesn't provide breakfast but the 24 hour gas station next door is also a cafe and inexpensive.

The family that run the hotel were very friendly and accomodating. The place is clean, simple and reasonably priced, within easy reach (by foot) of the railway and Alberobello's main attractions.
