The hotel tried to have a theme. Which was OK. Unfortunately there were works outside so it was noisy. Some times they close the main road for the market and therefore all the traffic passes by the side street to where the hotel is. The hotel is not on the sea and the bathroom is very very small. The bed was a bit hard but OK. For the astronomical cost of the room they do not even include breakfast. It is a family run business and the family is nice.

The room as such was not more than a standard room. And the shower / bathroom very small and, as often is the case in Italy, a poor functioning shower. The hotel has indeed a very interesting collection of old furniture and artifacts that is interesting. The service was good and friendly. The location in a rather quiet street and not too far from the waterside.

By car From Rome, leave the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring road at exit no. 10 towards Firenze and merge onto the A1 highway, following direction to Firenze, then Pisa Nord. Close to Prato, take the A11 highway and head toward Genova. Continue along the A12 highway and close to La Spezia follow direction to Milano-Genova Ovest-Ventimiglia. Keep following the Ventimiglia direction until you reach the highway exit to Albenga.
