Hotel Al Saraceno - Alassio

Being descendants of the Vikings, we are used to sleeping with our windows open - therefore we got some noice from the trafic early in the morning. But we enjoyed our stay and would be pleased to return!

This hotel is not only difficult to find because the over-designed hotel name makes it illegible it also has NO car parking. It is located in an overcrowded street with no nearby parking facilities. I was directed to a car workshop where I was told I could park for ten Euros/day (and could borrow a bike to get back)but the entrance was too restricted for me to reach it. I was forced to park in a public car park at 1.50 Euros per hour! The room was cramped but (just) adequate but absolutely stank of stale cigarette smoke. It was a non smoking room. When I checked out my money was taken by an indifferent older man (proprietor?) who was not in the least bit interested in my stay.

The dinner in not good.

This hotel is a poor three star. We spent 194 euro for night. The real value is not more than 80 euro. The room is a poor three star, the breakfast service is a 2 star. I don't recommend anyone this hotel

Good price-quality realationship. Kind staff. close to the beach. We received excellent service. Food provided was very good and ample choice. close to centre and restaurants

Very good value for Half Board spoiled a little by poor vegetables (boiled almost to soup and far too much salt). Good breakfast - eggs & bacon seems surprisingly popular. Pleasant and helpful staff, mostly all speak reasonable amount of english. Directions to hotel are not good, though not too difficult to find but quite a long walk from the train station. Hotel does not have good views but a short road opposite is pleasant and only 2 minute walk to beach & promenade. Rooms were clean and generally quiet - our room was at the front but only a little traffic noise.

It's ok

I travelled with my friend. We stayd six days in Alassio. In this hotel only one day. All that I want to express concerning this hotel to not be placed here. I shall write to you the letter. p.s. It is a pity, that it is impossible all to tell in Russian.
